Golden Dragon Water Puppet Theater - At 18:00, you will be picked up from the hotel by a “Xich Lo” for a delightful one-hour ride around Ho Chi Minh City Center at night, culminating at the Water Puppet Show.

Cu Chi Tunnels & Street Food Tour (B/L/D)

Cu Chi Tunnels - In the morning, the driver will pick you up from your hotel to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, a fascinating site where the Viet Cong hid during the War. The journey takes about 1.5 hours. This legendary network of over 250km of tunnels played a crucial role during the War and is now a popular attraction for both Vietnamese and international tourists.

The tunnels once functioned as underground cities, complete with trap doors, living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers, and kitchens. Visitors can watch a short introductory video on the tunnel construction before exploring them. Spend an hour discovering the tunnels.

Afterward, try the delicious manioc, a staple food for guerrilla warriors in Cu Chi during the war.

Ho Chi Minh City - Return to Ho Chi Minh City at 14:30 after lunch and relax.

At 18:00, the tour guide will meet you at the hotel to provide safety instructions for riding on the back of a bike, ensuring a safe experience.

Join the locals in experiencing Saigon’s rush hour from the back of a bike. Ride through beautifully lit boulevards, back alleys, and bustling streets, offering a more thrilling experience than viewing pictures in a guidebook!

First, savor Vietnamese pancakes (Bánh xèo), spring rolls, and learn about the customs and background of the food from the guide. Try making it yourself. Enjoy the food and drinks like a local, sitting on small plastic chairs in the alleys.

Nguyen Thien Thuat Apartment Buildings - Later, explore “Chung cư,” a Vietnamese residential building from long ago. Enjoy coffee at a hidden coffee shop and learn to make a cup without a machine. It’s a must-try experience in Vietnam.

Ho Chi Minh City – My Tho - Ben Tre – Can Tho (B/L/-)

Mekong Delta - At 8:00 am, the car and tour guide will pick you up from your hotel to depart for the Mekong Delta. The drive to My Tho town takes about 1.5 hours. En route, stop at the Mekong rest stop to relax and enjoy the bonsai garden.

Vinh Trang Temple - Upon arrival in My Tho town, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, the oldest ancient pagoda in Southern Vietnam. Known for its unique architecture influenced by Vietnamese, Khmer, and European cultures, it is the largest pagoda in the Mekong Delta.

Tien Giang Province - After visiting Vinh Trang Pagoda, head to the pier to board a motorboat. Enjoy a leisurely ride on the Tien River, taking in the fresh air and the peaceful life of the locals. Pass by stilt houses, fishing floating farms, and the four islands: Dragon, Phoenix, Tortoise, and Unicorn.

My Tho - After a 30-minute boat ride, arrive at Thoi Son Island, the largest of the four islands. Stroll along village paths, visit local homes, orchard gardens, and enjoy seasonal fruits while listening to traditional Southern folk music. Take a hand-rowing boat through the creeks to admire the natural water coconut trees, a symbol of the Delta. Locals will provide you with the “nón lá,” the traditional Vietnamese hat.

Try rowing the boat yourself. After 20 minutes, arrive at a bee-keeping farm, visit the honey bee farm, and taste delicious honey tea with lemon, which is beneficial for health. For those seeking adventure, a python farm offers photo opportunities with pythons.

Ben Tre - Return to the motorboat and cruise to Ben Tre province to visit a coconut candy workshop and learn how to make these delicious candies by hand. The highlight of the trip is a sightseeing tour through peaceful villages by horse cart. Return to the motorboat to visit Phoenix Island, explore the crocodile farm, and learn about the Coconut belief. Enjoy lunch in the orchard garden.

After lunch, ride a bicycle through village paths to enjoy the fresh air and observe pastoral life. Take a short walk through narrow village paths to the boat.

Can Tho - Return to the boat and head back to the bus, which will take you to Can Tho. Check in at the hotel.

Cai Rang Floating Market – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L/-)

Cai Rang Floating Market - After breakfast, the bus will take you to Ninh Kieu Wharf. From there, visit Cai Rang Floating Market by boat. Located about six kilometers from Can Tho, it’s a 30-minute boat ride. As you float down the river, observe life along its shores, with vibrantly painted boats, merchant vessels, and stilt houses.

Upon reaching the market, you’ll be impressed by the stretch of boats selling various goods. While not a place for souvenirs, it’s ideal for buying large quantities of goods, mainly foodstuffs, offering insight into water commerce in the Delta. Your guide will share information about Cai Rang Floating Market as you navigate through the boats.

Can Tho Market - Learn how boats display their goods by hanging samples from long poles; for example, look for a hanging pineapple if you want pineapple. Interact with floating merchants, often when a small boat selling drinks attaches to the tour boat.

Try Vietnamese vermicelli noodles and see how they’re made. Trek along the village to meet locals and cross a “monkey bridge” made of bamboo.

After leaving the village, visit Can Tho market and have lunch there. Then, the car will take you back to Saigon.

Ho Chi Minh City Tour - Hoi An Ancient Town (B/L/-)

War Remnants Museum - Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out. Visit the War Remnants Museum, formerly known as the Museum of Vietnam War. It offers a poignant display of the futility of war, with touching black and white photography in the ‘Requiem’ exhibit, dedicated to journalists and photographers who perished during the conflict. The courtyard displays war relics like rusting jets, tanks, and cannons captured from the American military.

Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral - Visit the former US Embassy, where the last helicopter departed Saigon in 1975. Then, explore the Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office, built between 1877 and 1883. These are excellent examples of classical French colonial architecture, with every stone shipped from France to Vietnam. The cathedral’s two 40m towers, topped with iron spires, dominate the skyline. The Old Post Office is another example of French colonial architecture and is the country’s largest post office.

The Independence Palace - Visit The Reunification Palace, one of the city’s most important buildings. On April 30th, 1975, the ‘American War’ officially ended here when tank number 843 of the North Vietnamese Army crashed through the gates of what was then the residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam.

Da Nang - Afterward, the guide will take you to Tan Son Nhat Airport for a short flight to Da Nang City (timing depends on the flight schedule). Upon arrival, Luco Travel’s tour guide and driver will meet you at Da Nang Airport and transfer you to the hotel in Hoi An Ancient Town.

Hoi An - Da Nang - Golden Bridge - Marble Mountain (B/L/-)

Ba Na Hills - At 07:30, after breakfast at the hotel, the guide and driver will pick you up to visit Ba Na Hills, also known as King Mountain, the second DaLat/Sapa in Central Vietnam. The weather here is always pleasantly cool.

At 08:30, admire the heights by riding the most modern cable car system in Southeast Asia. Visit Dream Stream Cable Car Station and enjoy games at Fantasy Park.

Golden Bridge - Explore King Peak, situated at an altitude of 1,487m, offering panoramic views of the Bana Hills and Quang Nam - Da Nang. On the mountain top, visit Linh Tu Pagoda, known for its unique temple construction.

Visit the famous Golden Bridge, one of Vietnam and Asia’s renowned bridges, before returning to the hotel to relax.

Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum - Visit the memorial complex for Ho Chi Minh, the historic figure and father of modern Vietnam. Explore the Presidential Palace, Uncle Ho’s house on stilts, One Pillar Pagoda, and the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university built in 1076. Also, visit the picturesque West Lake and the sixth-century Tran Quoc Buddhist Pagoda.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant with special Vietnamese cuisine.

Vietnam Museum of Ethnology - In the afternoon, visit the fascinating Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, a research center and public museum exhibiting Vietnam’s ethnic groups. The museum’s mission includes scientific research, collection, documentation, conservation, exhibition, and preservation of the cultural and historic patrimony of the nation’s different ethnic groups. It also guides research, conservation, and technology specific to ethnographic museums.

Hoa Lo Prison - Your guide will then take you to Hoa Lo Prison, with exhibits focusing on the Vietnamese struggle for independence from France up to the mid-1950s. A notable relic is the ominous French guillotine used to behead Vietnamese revolutionaries. There are also displays about American pilots incarcerated at Hoa Lo during the American War.

At 08:00, the driver and tour guide will pick you up from your hotel to depart for Ha Long Bay. Located in Northern Vietnam, Ha Long Bay is one of the country’s most popular tourist attractions and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The bay is renowned for its scenic karst topography, often featured in popular photos of Vietnam.

Bai Tu Long Bay - On the way to Ha Long Bay, take a short 20-minute break. The car will arrive at Bai Chay, Hon Gai Harbor.

At 12:00, pick-up at Hon Gai harbor and transfer to the cruise by tender.

At 12:45, enjoy a welcome drink and check into your cabin.

At 13:30, cruise through Bai Tu Long Bay and enjoy lunch aboard with a set menu.

At 15:30, explore Vung Vieng Fishing Village. Choose to discover the daily life of the fishing communities by bamboo boat or kayak around the Vung Vieng area (both options last about one hour).

At 07:45 – 09:00, enjoy morning views of the seascapes with a cup of tea or coffee while cruising toward Thien Canh Son Cave. Visit Thien Canh Son Cave, a medium-sized and less-visited cave in Bai Tu Long Bay.

Halong Bay - At 09:00, return to the boat, relax on the sundeck, or watch a fruit carving demonstration.

At 09:30, check out of the cabin as the boat heads back to the harbor.

At 10:00, transfer by tender to the pier and relax inside the pier building while waiting for return transportation.

At 10:30, enjoy the last views of Ha Long Bay over lunch as the boat cruises back to shore.

Hanoi - At 16:00, take the Limousine van back to Hanoi.
