Great experience! - A wonderful experience that I can highly recommend. Kenji and staff were very accommodating and despite being late, we were still able to participate. It was a very warm day and they turned on the fans for us - which was much appreciated. Instructions were very clear and we had a great time shooting the targets - which are 7m away. We had the option to wear the traditional Kyudo Uniform, which I recommend to do for a full immersive experience. Kenji helped us take some amazing photos! So grateful to have photos of our experience to look back on!

First Kyudo - Four of my friends and their husband participated. Is it an easy experience for inbound demand? At first, I had this feeling that I was going to go out and have fun for an hour! We should all go normally. I can borrow a bow dress, but it's very tense, so I'd better wear it. The bow is a weapon. He taught me about those dangers and gave me very careful guidance. I'm so happy when I hit the target! I came to my arms and spine because I didn't exercise enough. They also took photos and videos, and it was a fulfilling one-hour experience of about 20 minutes. It was such a wonderful experience!

What a fantastic experience! - What a fantastic experience, we had so much fun! The hosts were so knowledgeable, supportive and fun to be with. At times we used a translation app which we have come across alot on our trip and has been very helpful. They also got some really good photos of us in action. Putting the outfits on really enhanced the experience and would urge anyone to do it!

Try your hand at traditional Japanese archery! - I had gotten interested in traditional Japanese archery (kyūdō) a couple of years ago. While visiting Hiroshima, I found this place just outside Hiroshima castle and decided to try it! For one hour, you can wear a simplied version of the hakama uniform used for kyūdō, receive a quick tutorial on how to properly hold the bow, notch the arrow, and shoot. You also receive a glove to wear as well. The targets are smaller and closer, while the bow is lighter than the typical ones used in the sport. But it is perfect and helpful for just trying out! There were two staff members there when I did my experience. One, who had done kyūdō since high school, who had taught me the method for holding and shooting the bow. He was a bit firm with his instruction, but did correct my stance so that I could have a better chance at landing a mark. In between the sets of arrows, the other staff member made sure I had sanitized arrows to shoot with, and I found it nice that they took care to prevent the spread of germs. I finished in under an hour because my hand started to hurt, but it was such a unique experience!

Fun! - Very fun activity, nice staff, good explanation of how to use the tools. History could have been a bigger subject. And also we expected it to be in the castle but it was in a building close to the castle, but that's alright

I felt very sorry for myself. - It started at 13:30, so I went there at 13:00 and it was closed. I went there at 13:15 and there was someone there, but they asked me to come at the last minute at 13:30 and I went at 13:25. So I finally got into the venue and when I checked in, they told me there was no reservation and I knew my reservation was for the next day. I'm not in Hiroshima the next day, so I want to cancel! If so, I can't do it here, I have other customers, so please leave! And they kicked me out. They say you can only cancel online, so I asked them to help me with that, because it was just in time! So I went online on my own, but no matter how many times I went, I couldn't log in, and the time went past 13.30 and I had less than 24 hours. So I had to pay the whole 18,000 yen for three people. I was there 30 minutes before the time, so there was no one there, so I was just barely able to dig up the wrong appointment date and time. But I told the shopkeeper before the start time that I wanted to cancel, but they kicked me out of the venue and read the terms! A single point. I've never had such an unkind and unpleasant experience. I think it's very mean. We plan to consult with the Consumer Center.
