- Yamato Museum - Guests will explore the Yamato Museum, where a guide will lead them through the exhibits, offering insights and explanations about Japan’s Navy and Kure’s Naval Base. Visitors will also have the chance to admire a one-tenth scale model of the battleship Yamato, the largest battleship ever built.
NOTE - The Yamato Museum is currently undergoing renovations until March 2026. As a result, visitors will explore a temporary exhibit called the “Yamato Museum Satellite” instead. While the same type of information will be available, the one-tenth scale model of the battleship Yamato is not on display at this time. Instead, guests can view a 1:100 scale model of the Yamato, along with a full-scale model of the Type Zero Observation Seaplane (Mitsubishi F1M).
- JMSDF Kure Museum - The tour will include a visit to the JMSDF Museum, where guests will have the unique opportunity to step inside a real decommissioned submarine.
- Kure City Irifuneyama Memorial Hall - The tour will also include a visit to the Irifuneyama Memorial Museum, where guests will enter the former official residence of the Kure Naval Station Commander-in-Chief. This home is a stunning example of the beautiful and unique architecture that emerged in Japan during the Meiji era.
