- Peace Bell - The Peace Bell represents harmony and a world free of nuclear weapons. Its deep, resonant sound serves as a reminder of global unity, encouraging reflection on peace and the hope for a better future.
- Monument to Korean Victims and Survivors - This monument honors the Korean victims of the atomic bombing, acknowledging their suffering and contributions to Hiroshima’s history. It stands as a symbol of remembrance, reconciliation, and the pursuit of lasting peace.
- Children’s Peace Monument - Dedicated to the memory of children who lost their lives due to the atomic bombing, this monument was inspired by Sadako Sasaki, a young girl who folded paper cranes in hope of survival. Thousands of colorful cranes surrounding the statue, sent from around the world, symbolize a collective wish for peace.
- Peace Flame - Burning continuously since 1964, the Peace Flame represents the commitment to a world without nuclear weapons. It will remain lit until all nuclear arms are abolished, serving as a powerful symbol of hope and a reminder of Hiroshima’s message of peace.
- Hiroshima National Peace Memorial Hall for the Atomic Bomb Victims - A place of quiet reflection, the Peace Memorial Hall honors the victims of the atomic bombing through personal stories, photographs, and survivor testimonies. Its design encourages visitors to contemplate the impact of war and the importance of peace.
- Hiroshima Peace City Monument Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims - An arched monument inscribed with the words “Let all the souls here rest in peace, for we shall not repeat the evil.” It holds the names of all known victims of the atomic bombing and aligns perfectly with the Peace Flame and Atomic Bomb Dome, symbolizing remembrance and a commitment to peace.
- Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum - The entrance ticket to the Peace Memorial Museum will be purchased in advance, allowing visitors to skip the long line. Please note that the museum visit is self-guided, as tour guides are not permitted to speak inside. It typically takes about one and a half hours to explore the museum.
- Gates of Peace - A series of ten glass gates inscribed with the word “peace” in multiple languages, symbolizing Hiroshima’s universal message of harmony. These gates stand as a reminder of the collective hope for a peaceful world, inviting reflection as visitors pass through.

Sheraz was a phenomenal... - Sheraz was a phenomenal guide. He brought so much information and history to the tour that I felt I walked away with much more knowledge about Hiroshima than I had started off with. He was sociable as well which is always a plus.

Great way to see the memorials - Really excellent tour of the Peace Park. Guide was friendly, very knowledgeable and paced the tour very well. Going in the evening was wonderful as the heat wasn't as intense, the crowds were less and walking through the sunset made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend

Peaceful and informative! - It was an oppressively hot day but our tour was lovely. Our guide was thoughtful about stopping to chat in the shade and to give us the time and space to enjoy each stop. He had many fascinating facts and because he was a PhD candidate in Chemical Engineering, he had a deep and thorough knowledge of the technical aspects of the history of Hiroshima and the bombing during WWII.
Go early in the morning before the crowds get big. We started at 9am. I wouldn’t have started any later than that.

Excellent Tour of Hiroshima - My son and I came to Hiroshima from Kyoto by train for the day and wanted to maximize our time so we booked a walking tour. Sheraz was an excellent guide. He explained everything very well and made the trip enjoyable. We were honestly were not sure if it would be worth the trip from Kyoto, but after the tour decided we were glad that we came.
