Moving experience - Amazing experience and very moving, having been to Pearl harbour too, it’s a view from both sides but very informative. There’s a free museum in the centre of the park with no wait times and also one at the cafe, the queue for the main museum was hours

Family bike tour - Awais was a great tour guide! My family of 4 went on a great bike tour that gave us an opportunity to really see a lot of Hiroshima. Awais was very knowledgeable and always made sure my family was engaged. The bikes were in great shape and the ebikes made it easy for all of us. Thanks for a great tour!

Very informative tour on bikes - Our family of 3 did a bike tour lead by Ihsan through Hiroshima. He provided us with a fantastic perspective of the events and city. He had the extraordinary talent of always finding shade when explaining landmarks and history. Very important as it was extremely hot! Maintenance of the bikes could be improved a bit, but other than that we would highly recommend this tour.

Must do tour! - Ali, our guide, was an excellent tour guide, he told us about the history of Hiroshima and details about the bombing, we stopped at memorials and went into the museum. He had great knowledge of the details. Since it was really hot this day he had thoughtfully placed waterbottles in the freezer so we had plenty of cold water throughout the tour. We also stoped at the castle and Sukeiin garden which was an oasis in the city

One of our best day in Japan so far!! - Had a wonderful time with our guide, Aways. He had fascinating descriptions and a great sense of organization for the tour. He ensured we were all safe and not too hot while making sure we saw as many of the significant monuments possible. It was an emotional historical tour that we appreciated with respect and gratitude. Thank you Aways, you are such a bring and amazing person!! The Banbury (from Canada)

A fantastic experience! - We visited Hiroshima in July as two couples and booked a bike tour with Awais—and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Despite the intense summer heat, Awais was incredibly thoughtful and made sure we stayed comfortable, often guiding us to shaded spots during stops. His cordial and pleasant demeanor made the entire experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. What really stood out was his deep knowledge of the city and its history, paired with a knack for uncovering hidden gems we never would have found on our own. From scenic backstreets to meaningful historical sites, every stop felt intentional and enriching. We went in with modest expectations and left completely impressed. Awais elevated the tour beyond just sightseeing—it felt like discovering Hiroshima through the eyes of a local friend. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a meaningful, well-paced, and memorable way to explore the city.

EXELLENT, but ... - 42-year-old Melissa (Mel) was WORLD CLASS! She was a godsend for me. And not just as a bike tour guide through Hiroshima. She was punctual, well prepared, bilingual in English and Japanese, very friendly, helpful, able to answer all my questions, and had an eye for detail (e.g., providing fish food, having small coins ready for requests and donations at temples and shrines). She was also absolutely convincing as a professional tour guide. It couldn't have been better. The bike she used (eBike) was also top-notch! However, her bosses at the company, a total of seven people, fell significantly short of their expectations: The day after the tour with Melissa, I wanted to rent a bike for a day—for a generous fee, of course—to explore the city of Hiroshima further on my own. I have a walking disability. However, Mel's bosses strictly refused. I've never experienced anything so terrible in a bike shop—in the entire world. I therefore express my contempt for Rodney, Ben, Kevin, Yuki, Mayco, Matt, and Sam. I classify them as show-off people, and I regret that I, as a human being and paying customer, was treated this way by these seven-person bosses. Isn't just one boss enough? Do you really have to play it off and boast about seven names?
