Start with a leisurely, stop-and-go narrated tour, which includes traversing the boardwalk over the salt marsh to observe and learn about tidal changes.

The journey meanders through secluded Live Oaks adorned with Spanish Moss and features one of the nation’s top Camellia Gardens, showcasing 131 varieties. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn about and see the endangered Marsh Tacky Horse, explore the Butterfly House, and discover many other remarkable sights. The tour concludes with a more dynamic ride around a lake, where some of the largest alligators are frequently seen, along with egrets, herons, cormorants, anhingas, and other local birds.
