Randy's Birthday boat ride - definitely worth it! the captain made sure to steer us around the rain, although we did get a little wet! The cooks brought the food underneath the awning and they were very entertaining and fun. The views of Hilton Head from the water are just amazing and there was comfortable seating. We had a great time! Family and friends were there to celebrate a birthday!

Incredible Experience!!! - Such an awesome trip!!! A beautiful tour around the island, saw so many gorgeous sights! Our captain, John, gave us great views by Harbour Town, and it was stunning seeing the lighthouse from the water. The bartender, Nathan, was so much fun!! He joked around with our kids, and was lots of fun while providing awesome local beers!! Can’t believe hibachi can be cooked on a traveling boat like this!! The chefs were very entertaining in cooking in front of us, and the food was delicious!!! What a cool Hilton Head experience; will definitely be back!!!

Great excursion - The excursion was very fun! The food was great! The staff was gracious and entertaining! It was cloudy so we did not see much of a sunset but it was still a good time! I would definitely do it again.
The boat was filled to only about half of capacity so there was plenty of room.
If I were to have a complaint there would only be one. For the price you're paying it would be nice to have at least one drink included even if it is just water.
But all in all, it was a great time had by everyone in my party.

Yum Yum - A fun night out with family. The staff was entertaining throughout the evening for both adults and kids. The chicken, steak, shrimp, rice, veggies (and yum yum sauce) was just as delicious and filling as in a hibatchi restaurant - but much more casual. Only suggestion is that water or tea should be included with the meal. To spend that much on dinner and boat ride and then have to pay additional for a bottled water or can of soda seemed a little over the top.

The Sunset Hibachi Cruise... - The Sunset Hibachi Cruise was certainly a memorable experience, and the chefs were both entertaining and genuinely kind, which added a lot to the evening. However, I do feel there are a few areas that could be improved. For the $127 per person ticket price, it would be reasonable to include complimentary soft drinks and water, with charges reserved for alcoholic beverages. It was a bit disappointing that no beverages at all were included in the cost.
Additionally, it would be helpful if the number of guests were limited to match the available seating. Some passengers were left without a place to sit, which took away from the comfort of the experience. Lastly, while the cruise is advertised as a two-hour event from 6 to 8 p.m., we didn’t actually set sail until around 6:20, which shortened the actual time on the water.
With a few adjustments, this cruise has the potential to be truly exceptional.

Good, Bad and Ugly.. - We took the Sunset Hibachi Cruise last night in absolutely perfect weather. The subtitle should really be The Good, The Bad and the Ugly...let's start with the good..The people are wonderful, very pleasant. The cruise itself was also very pleasant and a great way to spend the evening. Let's move on to the not so good...The boat was not very comfortable, the seating was totally full, and your choices were to sit on "bleacher like" seats or to stand. There really was no room to move around. It would have been nice for the captain to point out the sunset and to mention little things about where they were cruising (we are locals so we knew but every other water experience we've had while here has been far more explanatory). On to The Bad....The bartender, an incredibly nice young man, didn't even have a clue what white wine was, or which beers were which type. The two chefs were also very nice and working incredibly hard, also while being very engaging (we were seated up front near them as we had never been told when the boat was boarding, even though we had checked in among the first arrivals, so by the time we boarded the FULL boat, we had no choice but to sit near the chefs. That said, the food was incredibly subpar. It was not their fault, they did what they could with ordinary ingredients. It was advertised as "food truck style" yet it was more like summer camp line up and just scoop everything into one bowl on the buffet line. Again, not the fault of the chefs, they were there to cook and get it out not to act as facilitators. Now the UGLY....for two of us, having added a tip, the cost came to $296 and change (and that did not include any drinks, soft or otherwise or even water) so when you added those in it was in excess of $325.....I understand the cost of running the boat, but honestly for that price, we could have taken a sunset cruise and then had an incredible meal at The Bluffton Room, Charlie's, Chez George or any other fabulous restaurant on the Island or Bluffton and enjoyed both the trip on the water and an incredible meal. I guess the bottom line is my recommendation, if you were to ask, would be to enjoy a nice cruise on the water, see the sunset, but do not take this particular "sunset dinner" cruise....
