Low Country - We went on the four hr outing to Daufuskie Island with Captain Pete. He has a wealth of knowledge about the low country and the Gullah people.

Daufuskie Island tour is a must! - Captain Andy amazed us with his depth of knowledge of Daufuskie Island and the surrounding area. The ride over in the boat was thrilling at times and more relaxing at times. We were so inspired by all we heard and saw. We have been talking about the trip all day today. Highly recommend it!

We had a fantastic time... - We had a fantastic time on this tour. The Captain was full of interesting knowledge about Daufuskie Island and surrounding areas. He provided everyone with a list of great recommendations on places to eat, books to read, and movies to watch. A must do when visiting Hilton Head Island.

Unforgettable Boat & Daufuskie Island History Tour - This tour was such a memorable experience for the four of us. A small group of us headed out of Shelter Cove on a beautiful morning. Our guide Andy was very knowledgeable and shared interesting history throughout our tour. A highlight on the boat was watching the dolphins playing in the water all around us.
Once we arrived, I loved the vibe of the island right away. We jumped on golf carts and off we went exploring. We made many stops along the way learning about the past and enjoying many local stories that really brought the island to life. We stopped at a couple artisan shops and I especially enjoyed learning about indigo and its significance in history as well as the labor intensive dyeing techniques still used today.
It was a perfect mix of nature, history and good times with friends. Highly recommend this guide and tour if you’re looking for something laid back, educational and just a bit magical.

Great trip to Daufuskie Island - Captain Pete was an excellent tour guide. Boat ride to Daufuskie was perfect and we really enjoyed the tour once we got there. I would highly recommend this tour. Ask for Capt Pete!

Great trip learning about a little slice of life and history - We had a lovely afternoon on the water and learning about the area off Hilton Head Island. Andy, our captain on the boat and our guide both on sea and land is very knowledgeable about the area. He had great stories and information about all that we saw. He is entertaining and interesting to listen to. I liked the small size and not so “touristy” feel of the tour. Small boats and small golf carts made it almost feel like we were enjoying the island with a friend. Thank you for a very enjoyable trip!

Highly recommend! - We were extremely happy we decided to take this trip back in time to visit Daufuskie Island! The boat trip was a great way to see the Hilton Head area from the water and we enjoyed the tour of the Island on the golf carts as well.

Fun Day - Will Repeat Next Year - Fun day! Enjoyed the beautiful boat ride and learning about the history of this island. Captain Pete was an amazing tour guide and ensured we had plenty of time to take pictures, shop and take in everything at each stop. I’m excited to take the rest of my family and repeat this same tour next year!

Informative and Enjoyable Tour of Daufuskie - My husband and I had been coming to Hilton Head on vacation for 40 years since our honeymoon, but have never taken a tour of Daufuskie Island. Our tour with Captain Pete was great from start to finish. He is very knowledgeable and shared so much history of the island the whole time. The stops on the island really brought the history to life. It's obvious he has a passion for what he does and cares for the people of the island. Highly recommend!
