Wow! - This is a must when visiting Inverness. Travelling down the Caledonian canal to arrive at the mouth of the famous Loch Ness. The views are utterly spectacular - even in the rain! There are astonishing views with the chance of seeing nessy! Urquhart castle is like something from a daily tale - even though it's in ruins now. It only takes a little imagination to experience what the lords and ladies of the castle experienced centuries ago

We lucked out with... - We lucked out with gorgeous weather and a very calm Loch. No luck on the Nessie siting, but the trip was great with loads of info and the castle was amazing

A great cruise on Loch... - A great cruise on Loch Ness followed by a self-guided tour around the castle. The guide, Linda, was very knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Great experience! - Amazing trip! We were picked up from Inveness by Linda, an extremely funny, lively, friendly guide. We got a lot of info on our way to the harbour, but she was also cautious when it came to driving. The cruise on Loch Ness was amazing and we were left plenty of time for the Castle visit. Great schedule and great staff! Fine people make the best experiences

Did we spot Nessie......? - Brilliant trip with an extra special mention for Kieran the coach driver... what an absolute legend! Picked up nice and prompt from Inverness bus station and on the coach for about 15 - 20 mins to our drop off point for the boat cruise. All the while Kieran was giving a running commentary of interesting facts and places to look at whilst we were going along. On the boat for approx 45 mins to an hour and you travel about 8 miles down the Loch to Urquhart Castle. On the boat were refreshments, toilets, and a commentary of history about Loch ness, photo opportunities etc. Urquhart Castle visit is self guided for approximately 1 hour which is ample time to have a look around and get some photos of the stunning scenery. Coach journey back took about 40 mins or so, and again, a superb commentary from Kieran, with an added bonus stop to see a very friendly Highland Cow. Definitely worth every penny and i would happily do it all over again just for the breathtaking views of Loch Ness

Lovely cruise on Loch Ness with visit to Urquhart castle - Booking this tour was so easy. The coach picked us up at Inverness bus station and returned us there after a lovely trip. The guide on the cruise on Loch Ness was very informative and the scenery gorgeous. Urquhart castle was a fitting end, unfortunately we didn’t see Nessie. Worth the money and would definitely recommend.

Great tour and booking experience - Had an amazing time on this tour! Jacobite Cruises were super understanding and flexible and allowed me to rebook my tour after difficulties with public transport caused me to miss my original time. The bus leaving from Inverness Bus Station was super convenient and my guide, Linda, was super warm and knowledgable. Would definitely recommend!
