• Tomatin Distillery Visitor Centre - Heading back north towards Inverness, take a detour off the A9 to visit TOMATIN DISTILLERY, a well-established name in Scotland’s distillery scene. Opt for their Legacy tour or simply savor a dram or two in their tasting rooms. Access to the tasting rooms is complimentary, but any whisky purchases and the tour itself require separate payment.
• Tomatin - Enjoy a delightful late lunch at the charming 3 Bridges community-owned café in Tomatin.
• The Singleton Distillery - Continuing north on the A9, bypass Inverness and cross the Kessock Bridge over the Beauly Firth, heading west along its northern shore to Muir of Ord, where GLEN ORD DISTILLERY and the SINGLETON MALT await. Indulge in their Classic tour or sample some exquisite malts in the distillery’s stylish and modern tasting rooms.

The journey begins by heading south from Inverness to THE CAIRN DISTILLERY, beautifully located on the banks of the River Spey and nestled in the shadow of the Cairngorm Mountains. This visit offers a chance to explore one of Scotland’s newest and most modern distilleries.

The tour then returns north towards Inverness, with a stop at TOMATIN DISTILLERY off the A9. Visitors can enjoy the Legacy tour or simply savor a dram or two in the tasting rooms.

A late lunch awaits at the charming 3 Bridges community-owned cafe in Tomatin, followed by a northward journey on the A9. Bypassing Inverness, the route crosses the Kessock Bridge over the Beauly Firth and heads west along its northern shore to Muir of Ord, home to GLEN ORD DISTILLERY and the SINGLETON MALT. Here, guests can partake in the Classic tour or sample some of the fine malts in the distillery’s stylish and modern tasting rooms.
