Wonderful and interesting - Great full day tour. Our guide and driver, Harrison, was very informative and entertaining. Would definitely recommend him and the company for this type of all day tour. We saw all the advertised sites and then some. The weather was great and Harrison navigated the route expertly.

Unforgettable - My husband and I took the Eileen Donan & Isle of Skye bus tour and I cannot say enough positive things about it! My husband and I had never been to Scotland before and we really wanted to be able to see The Highlands without the headache of renting a car and driving on the “wrong” side of the road. We got to see so much that we otherwise would have easily missed. The entire ride was beautiful and our driver/guide Alex was as charming as could be. He seemed to be a bottomless font of historical knowledge and was full of loads of fun stories. I had a notebook along and made sure to take some notes so I could read more later on. His personal tales of family and adventure added so much to our overall experience. It was unforgettable!

Best way to do the Highlands - Amazing trip. We were hesitant about the 12 hour duration, but it was a perfect amount of time. We had plenty of time to come home and go to dinner after. Chris was informative, entertaining, and friendly. The stops were incredible. We considered driving ourselves through the highlands and without a doubt, doing the tour with Chris was the better option. It was efficient but also relaxing because you could sit back, look and listen sparing you the worry of planning / driving. The stops were great, a personal favorite of mine was Portree. I will be recommending this tour to friends! Would do it again. A highlight of our UK trip!

Beautiful views, music & storytelling - Highly recommend!! Coos, castles, lochs, bridges, glens, straths, waterfalls, kilt rocks, cliffs, dinosaurs, magical waters, local artisan shopping, stories and music. This tour has it all and so much more. Liall is a fantastic tour operator, using just the right amount of humor, wit, and Scots storytelling to keep everyone engaged, while he shared the history, science & vocabulary of the area (both the widely published and the locally Known). Plus, the VIEWS cannot be beat!

Scotland in miniature - We went to the Isle of Skye and it was outstanding. It is described as Scotland in miniature. It has the ocean, highlands, lochs, castles, and whisky distillery. One can experience a lot in a small amount of time due to the proximity of things. We spent several days there. We also had some fine dining which I did not expect. We stayed in Dunvegan.

Over the Sea to Skye with Awesome Tour Guide - Tonks sets the bar so high that no other highland tour can compare to hers. She’s energetic and passionate, and I’m glad I was on her bus. The Scottish highlands were a dream trip of mine, and all my high expectations were exceeded. Thank you Tonks and Timberbush for providing us with this wonderful experience! We will come back!

Our guide, Jack, was a pro after an accident. - Our guide/driver Jack was full of stories and information. The tour itself was great and it was nice to look at the scenery and not worry about driving on the wrong side of the road. Yes, I did say that. It's the wrong side. The bus is comfortable and the sites are beautiful. We loved it. One thing about Jack that should be mentioned here is that he handled a delicate situation with calm and humour. One of the visitors in our group took a nasty fall and bashed up his face and leg. Jack got him, and us, to our next stop in Portree as quickly as possible to get him looked at by a doctor. If Jack was worried you would never have known but he wasn't cavalier either. While the gentleman was patched up our tour continued and then we swung back and picked him up. Jack kept us all informed but didn't reveal more than necessary. He handled it like a pro. He made a couple of gentle jokes about the situation that eased any tension and any potential embarrassment the man might have felt. He set the tone for a wonderful day. Thanks, Jack.

Seat on bus not accommodating - The last row of 5 seats should not be used on this bus. It was extremely uncomfortable for the person in the middle seat. .

Do a different tour - The Isle of Skye does not have the infrastructure to support the number of people dumped on it by Timberland tours. Highly do not recommend.
