My boys 18 and 21 really enjoyed talking to him and learning the history of the area.Very nice clean Range Rover and Tony really made us feel like VIPs. Very nice visit to Dunrobin castle and the Glenmorangie distillery, among many other things. Tony was a great tour guide, highly recommend him and loved his little extras at the end,a lovely sampling of local sweets and some whisky too !

Incredible tour and guides - Fantastic experience with Tony and John Munro of Highland Guided Tours. We received excellent communication from the the first email I sent in Feb when inquiring about the tours for our visit in June. Tony followed up with a call to discuss the tours and how he could individualize for our small private tour for the 5 of us. He was professional, informative and provided the flexibility that fit our schedule. He was very patient with all the questions asked and even after we tweaked the tours many times. Tony and John are very knowledgeable not only about the Highland area (they are from the Highlands) but they also brought Scottish history to life by providing fascinating and fun stories about Scottish life and culture. Between myself and our friends, we booked about 14 tours over a months’ time and several airport/hotel transfers. They are both excellent drivers and the Mercedes van provided us with a smooth, comfortable ride even on the smallest of roads. Tony made sure each day we had snacks and water. Their choices of places for lunch we excellent. Occasionally they would provide a surprise treat that made everyone smile and felt like we were getting the true Scottish experience. This could have been just a regular sightseeing tour but it turned out to be highlight of our trip simply because Tony and John made each tour unique and fun! Their main goal is for their customers to get as much as Scottish experience as possible by weaving the Scottish traditions and culture into each of their tours. They went above and beyond for each tour and we never felt rushed or hurried at any of the sites we visited. They were happy to take photos of our group at any time and I also convinced Tony to join us in a few! I cannot say enough good things about Highland Guided Tours. If you are looking for private tours for a small group, this is the company to call!!!

Great Day Touring the Northern Highlands - We had a great day touring the Northern Highlands with Tony! This is the second time that we have used Tony as our private guide, and once again he didn’t disappoint. His knowledge of the area and his sense of humor will keep us coming back to him whenever we are in the Highlands. He is so friendly, and he is always willing to be flexible to what we would like to see and do. We never feel rushed when we are with Tony. We saw some beautiful areas of Scotland, and we loved Dunrobin Castle and the falconry show. Tony also took us to a great pub for lunch. I would highly recommend Tony for your Highland tours.

A fantastic tour of Northern Scotland. - I cannot say enough good things about Highland Guided Tours and the Northern Scotland tour we just did. This is a small company that takes great pride in the service they provide. My wife and I were picked up in a Range Rover for an over eight hour tour visiting Dornoch with its cathedral and the beautiful town. Our guide, Johnny, was extremely knowledgeable about the sites and history of the region. We were on a knowledge fest from the moment we stepped into his car. After Dornoch, we visited Donrobin castle for a complete tour and falconry show. After a quick lunch, we were off to Black Rock Gorge where a Harry Potter movie was filmed. But, the tour also included several photo stops along the way including Millionaire’s view. We had a clear, bright, albeit cold day. Snacks and whisky tasting along the way were provided. We skipped the stop at the Glenmorangie distillery as this is a brand well known to me and we were eager to get back to our ship. We were never rushed and everything was well planned. I cannot urge anyone visiting Invergordon/Inverness more than to look up this small but excellent company on Viator. You will not be disappointed.
