Nice boat ride and a castle visit - We had a group of four adults and two children age 9 and 11. When we arrived all the parking spaces were taken and we had to park on the side of the road and walk to the boat. We had no issues finding the boat and the ticket kiosk was right next to the boat. We gave a name of a person who booked it and they gave us tickets. The boat was just as shown on the website photos. Inside the boat, on the first floor there was a small stand that sold hot chocolate, coffee, small bottles of Prosecco and I believe I saw small bottles of wine there too, as well as various sweets and canned non alcoholic drinks. The boat ride was nice to the Urguhart castle. We sat upstairs because all the spaces inside the boat under the roof were taken. It was chilly when the boat was in motion due to wind and also a slight rain. But we were dressed for the weather and it was fine for us to sit outside. As the boat docked at the castle, we were told we had one hour to explore it. Which we already knew booking our tickets. But if was still good that all people were reminded so they dont miss a boat to go back. We took the time exploring the castle grounds, and took many photos. However, for us one hour was not enough as we never made it to the up hill where the museum was. And it was raining the entire time, but likely we brought umbrellas. The boat arrived on time and took us back. Suggestion: do not be late for a boat. If you want a parking space and not park on the side of the road- arrive early. And also arrive early to get a seat inside the boat if thats where you want to sit. Dress for the weather and bring umbrellas if you think it will rain. Also, if you like to tip at the end, bring cash. We enjoyed the tour and will go again.

A brilliant trip, we absolutely loved it! - Absolutely wonderful tour: the views, the historic and environmental information that is provided, from the Captain through to the people servicing with drinks, snacks and helping the tourists, they are a fantastic, slick team. Very good value and the most spectacular sights. An amazing trip!

Getting to go out on the... - Getting to go out on the Loch was fun but the trip was short and crammed with so many people. I’d advise booking a smaller more personal experience.

Commentary to soft didn’t hear anything about the cruise. - We couldn’t hear the commentary on the cruise. The music was louder than the voice. Left with not knowing any thing more from the cruise. Plus the conversations on the boat was loud too. The boat didn’t cater for baby’s. So our daughter had to sit in a dirty nappy for half an hour.
