You will LOVE this experience - The bikes and helmets provided were in good order and expertly fitted by Allison. The ride is 95% on bike paths and quite flat. We visited the Ness Islands and their wonderful woods, the botanical gardens, and learned about the Caledonian Canal. The tour is great and Allison is incredibly knowledgeable!

A fun way to experience more of Inverness! - Even with wind and drizzle, this was a fun way to discover and experience more of the waterways of Inverness, plus a beautiful tree-filled little island, the botanical gardens and a nature preserve. Our guide Allison was excellent, very safety-focused and informative, and made sure that the bikes were fitted to each rider. The bikes have easy gears and were very comfortable. Very glad we did this bike trip! Highly recommend!

Very fun and informative bike tour recommended for anyone considering it! - This tour with Alison was the best one we had during our recent three-week trip. We saw so much riding along the river, through the parks, and along the canals during our delightful two hour tour. Alison knows so much about Inverness and its history and seems to know everyone in the city as well. She is an excellent speaker and would be a joy to listen to--even without the bike riding! We appreciated how attentive she was to each person's bicycle skills and comfort. She keeps the groups small and guides folks carefully. (P.S. Ask Alison about when she first met Rick Steves. One of her best stories that we only learned of by staying to chat with her for a few minutes after our tour. Rick's high praise for Alison in his Scotland book is deserved and the reason we found her.)

Family fun in Inverness - Really lovely morning cycling along the canal. Good family outing. I’m not a very strong cyclist but was able to manage the 6 or 7 loop.

Beautiful places we would have missed! - Alison is a great bike tour guide. I felt very safe when cycling, although I haven’t been on a bike for years and have never been very good at it. It was an easy ride, and we were at some very nice places where we would not have been by walking. Alison knows so much about the history of Inverness and the changes of the last decades. Two very enjoyable hours! A perfect additional tour to a walking tour!

Saw sights we otherwise wouldn’t have! - Biking through the Ness islands and learning about the trees and benches. The botanical gardens were beautiful. Biking along the lock systems and taking it to where the rivers meet was beautiful. We saw seals pups! We learned so much about the area and saw so much more than we would have exploring on our own.
