• Culloden Battlefield - Highland life was forever altered on this field on April 16th, 1746, during the last pitched battle between the Hanoverian soldiers and the ill-fated Jacobites. Join us for a guided tour of this historic site.
• Urquhart Castle - Originally established in the Middle Ages, this site dates back to the 6th century. Urquhart Castle, constructed in the 13th century, played a significant role in the Wars of Scottish Independence. Now in ruins, it offers a prime location on Loch Ness for spotting Nessie.
• Loch Ness - Pause on the shores of Loch Ness and explore Nessie’s homeland. You might even encounter a renowned Nessie Hunter.
• Wardlaw Mausoleum - Completed in 1634 as the burial site for the Clan Fraser of Lovat chiefs, who had ceased using Beauly Abbey for burials. Here, we may visit Simon ‘the fox’ Fraser… or perhaps not?
• Beauly Priory - Beauly Priory is the area’s most renowned historical site — a 13th-century Valliscaulian monastery in ruins. Visit the place where Claire met the Frasers’ ‘Seer’. Beauly is also home to the original Simon ‘the fox’ Fraser.
• Robertson’s Farm Shop Beauly - Consider a visit to the Highland Cows. Meet Heather, Katie-Morag, and Jamie. A stop at the farm shop for all things related to Cows is essential.
