Additional Information

This cruise takes you on an adventure in to the wilderness.

Starting in the busy Glenfinnan area where we describe all the sights and detail the history of the village both old and modern. We soon whisk you off down the loch to the land of eagles, deer, Harry Potter landmarks and the home of the MacDonalds of Glenaladale.

Gaskan cottage was the home of well known naturalist Mike Tomkies for many years whilst he studied and wrote of the local wildlife, especially the eagles and wildcats there. It can only be accessed by boat or very long walk so this part of the loch is very serene and unspoilt.

This cruise returns to Glenfinnan jetty.

Great cruise, wonderful views (even in rain and mist) - It was a rainy afternoon, nothing to be done about that! But still amazing views, and I love the way clouds and mists change the views all the time, to. Some of us saw White Tailed Eagle and a Great Northern Diver. Great to be out on the water and also get some information about the area, history and wildlife.

A great experience!!! - The crew is super friendly and social. They explained the history of the place to us in detail during the trip and it was very entertaining. They gave us binoculars so we could spot deer and, if we were lucky, golden eagles. 100% recommended, we enjoyed it very much and everything was great.

Fantastic experience - What a lovely experience. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were warmly welcomed. Aly and his team are great. The knowledge of the surrounding area, along with the wold life is fantastic. Beautiful old boat that has a good range of spirits, hot and cold drinks and snacks on offer. Can recommend the hot chocolate! We saw the white tail eagles and some red deer in the distance. An experience not to be missed.

Bestifull cruise - Our tour on Loch Linnhe in Scotland was an unforgettable experience. The natural beauty of the loch is simply mesmerizing, with its serene waters reflecting the stunning landscape around us. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic, adding depth and excitement to the journey. One of the highlights was spotting golden eagles in their natural habitat. The guide's expertise and keen eye made this rare sighting possible, and it was truly a majestic moment. Additionally, we were thrilled to visit some picturesque locations that were featured in the Harry Potter movie franchise. For fans of the series, it was an exciting addition to the tour. The combination of awe-inspiring scenery, wildlife encounters, and cinematic history made this tour a fantastic adventure. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. This experience will stay with us forever!

Had a great time! - We had a great time on this boat tour! We saw one Golden Eagle from afar but you can't control nature! And what we did get to see what breathtaking scenery and to enjoy a relaxing boat ride. The Captain was great and provided a lot of information on local sights and history.

Go! - Captain Ali made us welcome from the offset and showed his local knowledge and enthusiasm throughout He looked for wildlife and shared what he knew, binoculars were available as well as blankets A reasonable priced bar and hot drinks made the trip comfortable as well as a loo on board! We were lucky to be the only people on the trip but felt others has missed out on a beautiful trip on a sunny day Finally, we agreed this was reasonable priced

Very knowledgable crew - Saw 2 distant White Tailed Eagles, perched in a tree and the scenery was outstanding. The guys on board were very helpful and knew their stuff.

Disappointed - We only went on the trip to see the Eagles. Not a single sighting of any wildlife except seagulls, very disappointed.
