Lovely saketasting (2h) in Saijo - I had a great couple of hours in Saijo, tasting a big variety of sake (both Junmai (Daiginjo and Ginjo), raw sake, cloudy sake etc) with different polishing rate of the rice. In total 9 different varieties, all with a different flavour. Dry, sweet, fruity, smokey, light or with a more full body. For me, it was the perfect amount, so I could still distinguish the different varieties from eachother. The guide was really entusiastic, and I learnt a lot. Good value for money.

A passion for Saijo and brewery tour - We were a group of ten or so. We had a very enthusiastic tour guide who was from Spain and she did a fantastic job!! They need to give her a raise!!! She really knew her stuff but she did a nice job of making it exciting in a very authentic way. We visited six tasting rooms of different breweries and sampled a nice variety of sake. As the tour progressed you could tell she really cared about what she was doing but also the people in the group. If you are interested in learning a bit about Saijo and the sake that is produced there these are your peeps!!! I am somewhat experienced with sake and I know it is brewed with pride and passion. It was refreshing to see that same passion shared with us on this tour!!

Must see tour! - We loved this tour. It was about 2 hours, not much walking and a ton of information. The sake was delicious and we were able to get a local lunch at the information station.

Touring sake breweries is fun - It was my first time touring a sake brewery, but the displays were easy to understand and I learned a lot. I enjoyed the tasting while thinking about the origins of the sake. It was a shame that the customer service at some breweries was not so good. They are the "face" of Higashihiroshima's sake breweries.

Highly recommend this Saijo sake tasting tour!! - The tour guides were all super fun and friendly, I instantly felt like I had made a new group of friends. The walk itself around Sakagura-dori Street in Saijo was very lovely and I enjoyed learning about the area’s history of sake. Each brewery was unique and getting to learn about so many different methods used to make sake and try the resulting drinks was a wonderful experience. I was amazed by the art of sake making, it truly is an art, the love and care the workers put into making sake is incredible and everything is timed and done so precisely. Honestly one of the most enjoyable tours I have ever done, and that is very much thanks to the incredible tour guides!

This is a tour that can be enjoyed by both alcohol lovers and non-drinkers. - The guide was great. We were quickly drawn into his pace and all the guests became comfortable with him. The tasting cups hanging around the guide's neck were a great idea. We were excited from the start of the tour. The number and quantity of samples was satisfying. The atmosphere of Saijo town was also great. I have never seen a place with so many sake breweries gathered together. I wish we could have taken a little more time to explore. Personally, the Sanyo Tsuru nigori sake we had at the end of the tour was delicious.

Blissful walking tour with sake hopping in Saijo - I often visit Saijo for sake festivals, etc., but this time it was a great opportunity to visit 7 sake breweries and learn about the types and characteristics of the sake! Our guide, Mr. Yone, was very friendly and talked about his knowledge of Saijo's alcoholic beverages, which really impressed me. Each sake brewery is within walking distance (within 2-5 minutes) and you can walk to Saijo Station. There will be 9 types of alcohol to sample, so if you like alcohol, it's okay, but if you don't drink much, you won't have to force yourself (lol) *If you can't drink it, it seems like you don't have to drink. This is Saijo's representative sake hopping tour and is highly recommended! ! !

The Saijo Sakamura Street Testing Guided Tour was an amazing journey. I discovered new things at every stop, trying diff - Taking the Saijo Sakagura Street SakeTesting Guided Tour was an amazing experience. I discovered new things at every turn, visiting different breweries and trying lots of Sake flavors. Each taste showed me how diverse and special Sake is. Our guide knew a lot about Sake's history and how it's made, which made the trip even better. If you're interested in Japanese culture and want an unforgettable adventure, I really suggest this tour. It's a chance not just to enjoy great Sake, but also to learn about its culture. Don't miss out on exploring the fascinating world of Sake for yourself!
