Exploring the Heart of Japanese Sake with Wonderful Guides - A Wonderful Experience at the Saijo 7 Breweries Tasting Tour Today, I had the pleasure of participating in the Saijo 7 Breweries Tasting Tour, organized by the Higashihiroshima City Tourism Association. It was an absolutely delightful and enriching experience. Our guide, Ms. Yone, was exceptional. Her deep knowledge of Saijo’s rich history and the intricate process of sake preparation and production was truly impressive. She explained everything in great detail, ensuring that we gained a meaningful understanding while keeping the entire group engaged and entertained. Her warm, friendly nature and graceful personality added a special charm to the tour. We were also fortunate to have Ms. Tomoko Ogata accompanying us. She was equally dedicated and enthusiastic, making a great effort to explain every single aspect clearly. Together, both of them made our visit to Saijo incredibly memorable and enjoyable. The staff at each of the seven sake breweries were very welcoming and cooperative. They generously shared their knowledge, and we had the opportunity to taste a wide variety of unique and delicious sake. This tour was not only a wonderful cultural experience but also a beautiful example of Japanese hospitality and craftsmanship. I sincerely thank the entire team, especially Ms.Yone and Ms. Ogata, for their kind efforts. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hiroshima or interested in learning more about sake.

Great Sake Tour with a Great Guide! - We had a great time with the brilliant Ione as a guide. Learnt a lot about the Saijo area and the history and brewing techniques for sake. I would recommend this tour over those that visit only a couple of locations, much more complete and more fun!
