A must experience that stand away from your experiance in DaNang or Hoi An. - Finally, I was able to swim in great waters. I wish I had looked further and placed myself in this area. It was a great experience, and all travelers should know about it. It's not at all what you thought. It's a must-see experience for those visiting DaNang and Hoi An. Thank you for a seamless experience

Bring your supplies , especially if you have kids. - Water was clearer in first location compared to second. Plenty to see underwater and plenty of time allocated to do this. Was expecting a James bond type of speedboat but in reality it was a cruiser with 32 other people. All said and done the transfer was quick and there was plenty of equipment. Drop off point was a typical market by the docks , so come well prepared with your own hat etc or be prepared to be scammed have a drink also as back up.1

lovely hammock time on a tropical island bay - We had a great time today with the SeaTrek tour from Danang to Cham Islands. As notified by email via tripadvisor, we were picked up in 14seater minibus from our Danag hotel at 0745, we picked up another couple then drove the 30min or so to Hoi An where we boarded the boat. The docks was not pleasant with hawkers. There are decent toilets here (no toilet paper). Once out of the river however the boat ride was great out to the island. the first site had jelly fish stingers (small sting, no lasting mark) so guide Sony moved us to another island which was free of stingers. Lots of colourful coral fish, star fish, sea cucumbers, coral. Then to the Cham island for a lovely lunch under thatched roof, enourmous amounts of food, bring cash to pay for drinks (coconut fresh, fanta, beer). There was then 2 hours of free time on the beach which was great - more swimming or sitting in hammocks. This part was actually the childrens favourite. Then on time Sony rounded us up and back to the boat for the ride home. Very happy with the day and would do it again. Things not clear on the TripAdvisor blurb - you need to bring a towel yourself. Toilets are at the Hoi An docks, a rough toilet on the first snorkling site and on the island lunch site. Change into bathers at the docks or before leaving hotel. Drive from Danang to Hoi An about 40min, if being picked up in Hoi An about 10min to docks.

Not the best trip for snorkling - The best part was lunch on Monkey Island. Tasteful food, quiet (no music or traffic), nice beach. The snorkling itself was disappointing. Too many people, bad visibility on one place, not available fins the second.

Tourist trap - Charm islands…or is it m scam islands. That’s exactly the true keening of a tourist trap. They bring you by bus to the harbour where they make you wait in an area where you are being harassed by constant street sellers of sunglasses, hats, sun cream, beach towels… basically stuff that you already have prepared for a snorkeling day. You are joining other groups to finally onboard the speedboat 1 hour later. That’s just the beginning of what it appears to be a long day of multiplie unsolicited traps.

Disapointing - Very disapointing No colorful coral Hardly any fish at all Poorly organised We kept detouring to what appeared to us to pick up locals as a taxi Very expensive for what we recieved Lunch on the island was lovely Alos dispointing to see how the island is looked after Given we had some many warnings about the eco system

There's no fish. - I thought I could see lots of beautiful fish with high transparency, coral, but not so clear, only a few fish were black, which was a big difference from what I had imagined. My friend who went to Cham Island on another occasion said that he could see a lot, so I think it was a day when there were no fish, or maybe he joined a tour company going to another spot.

No appreciation for wildlife in the water - No consideration for the Nature and wildlife. Think I inhaled oil from the boat in the water. One of the tourguides even stood on the corals. There was no organization. Kinda ironic they say not to bring plastic, yet throw water bottles in the water. Wouldn’t recommend.
