Amazing summer ice cave tour! - We did a summer ice cave tour with Claudia and it was once in a lifetime amazing! We enjoyed ourselves, we were very well taken care of safety-wise. Pictures came out amazing!

Awesome experience, and a must do in the winter - An awesome experience with Martin as our guide. He was passionate and knowledgeable about the ice caves. The caves were melting from the summer but still had stunning views and sections. We learned a lot on this experience

Unforgettable moments of awe - This was the most memorable experience of my trip to Iceland. I went with family and we had the tour to ourselves! Our guide Marcos took us to the site early for the best opportunities to see the ice cave in peace and have time for beautiful photography. It was clear Marcos is knowledgeable and researched in the history and environmental impact of the glacier. He is equally skilled in finding the perfect lighting and backdrop of jaw dropping photography. His effort to take his time with our photos, have a laugh with us and guide us through such a unique landscape will truly stay with me as a treasured memory from Iceland. A Truly unique experience - A wonderful experience. Our guide, Dario, was friendly, entertaining, and very knowledgeable regarding the glacier and the surrounding area. The caves are other worldly! Truly unique. You can see volcanic ash imbedded in the glacier from thousands of years ago. And the way the sunlight refracts through the ice, makes for some beautiful photo opportunities. Since the glaciers are ever changing, each visit will be a little different. Ice Pic Journeys were very accommodating and worked diligently to get us on our glacier trip. We will gladly visit them again!

THE highlight of our family vacation - THE highlight of our family's Iceland vacation. Do not book with anyone else. We departed from Jokusarlon lagoon area early morning, easy to find. Hiked across a glacier to explore an ice cave. We were provided with helmets, safety harness, crampons, and instruction. Our guide Susanna was outstanding. She was friendly and very knowledgeable, sharing information with us about the glacier, how it was formed, what happens as it melts, all about the ice cave, and so much more. She carved the steps herself the day prior to get into the cave. We had a small group of 6 - 4 of us (2 adults 2 kids 13/10) and another couple. We spent so much more time exploring and learning about the cave than 2 other (much larger) groups who showed up later - they went through and left quickly. Other than that, we largely enjoyed the cave alone. We also suspect they had illegally parked a van on the glacier to even find the cave, so for the sake of responsible tourism please only book with a reputable operator like Ice Pic Journey. Anyway, the tour was amazing and I cannot wait to see our professional photos. We felt safe and got to explore and go through a fairly long ice cave with that gorgeous blue color one only hopes to see. I cannot rave about this tour and tour operator enough.

Allowed us to explore areas we would never have done on our own - What a wonderful experience. Explored caves we would never have done on our own, plus the photos are great!

Avoid this company - Very unprofessional company. They put their gest in great danger by taking them in side the glazers when the ice is very unstable and we were lucky to finish our trip before the cave collapse killing people. Go with local companies that know what they are doing!
