Great, even with a toddler - We were picked up directly from the hotel and driven straight to Knossos. There we spent 2 hours there with lots of information from the tour guide. With a toddler in a carrier, this was no problem at all. However, it is not recommended with a stroller. After that we drove to Heraklion. There was a short tour of the city center lasting around 30 minutes. For us, the length of the tour with a toddler was ideal. The buggy/stroller could be taken on the bus without any problems. We then spent around 3 hours in Heraklion. We did not go to the museum, which is why it got a bit "boring" for our toddler towards the end. All in all, the trip is definitely recommended.

Colourful and historical fun - Christina out tour guide was fantastic. She was extremely knowledgeable and proud of her island. She had amazing facts and suggestions for other places to go. She ran the whole day efficiently and everything ran like clockwork. She was very warm understanding and had a great sense of humour too. We all loved our day out and so glad we booked the tour. We are going to return to Crete next year and will look to book another tour. Christina was what made the tour without her it would have been informative but she brought colour and sparkle to the ancient stories of Crete.

Very cute - Wander through the small streets to admire the houses and the hanging flowers. The center is very touristy but we didn't feel suffocated. There are all prices in the small stores, we brought back magnets for 1.50 euros as well as key rings for 1 euro. We also bought apricots and cherries, no taste...disappointed!!!! Very difficult to park, so we found the solution of parking near the museum in the supermarket parking lot. You will just have to buy something in the store (water for us because it was so hot) and keep the ticket and thanks to that the barrier will open.

Knossos Palace amazing. Extended pickup drive not so much… - Our guide, Soula, was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and good at keeping a large group moving. On the downside the pickup from multiple locations was extremely time consuming. It would be good to have an option to allow those that want to meet at the first point of interest at a predetermined time to do so. Especially as it is not that far from the centre of Heraklion.

Was an average tour - There wasn’t much to the tour itself. Visited the palace which was nice and the guide was very informative. You then spend 3 hours in the marketplace which is a long time to kill.
