Great! - We had a very nice guided tour of Sula, who could show us much more through our small group than would have been possible with a large group, so we were also able to view smaller rooms of Knossos, while Sula told us very pleasantly about the story and towards the end of the tour of Knossos also about the origin of mythology. She was very professional, had a pleasant way of talking and she was able to inspire even my rather less interested mother about the stories of Knossos and Heraklion! Great, detailed tour and best regards:)

Tour in Knossos and Heraklion - Great tour, really glad I did this as I think without a tour guide you would get so much less out of a visit to Knossos. The orientation in Heraklion was perfect for an afternoon off exploring. Christina, the tour guide was warm and funny and informative- the perfect mix, would highly recommend!

Knossos palace tour - Very informative tour of the Knossos palace followed by an afternoon in Heraklion old town. Our English speaking guide Christina was amazing, full of knowledge. Good souvenir hunting in the old market and the ice cream is epic!

A brilliant day trip with our wonderful guide Christina who brought the Palace to life - A brilliant. Interesting day with our guide Christina who was amazing. She brought Knossos Palace to life and is so knowledgeable. Then a brief tour of the Venetian buildings in Herkalion. The Orthodox Greek church is one of the best we have seen. We had already visited the Museum where the artifacts. Paintings and mosaics are housed from the Palace and recommend you do this as well

Well worth the time - Our trip started with transfer from my hotel. A wellkept minibus was on time and the driver was very helpful. In the city all transfer bus passengers were sorted by preferred language so we could get a guide we could understand. Our guide was Soula. She is multilingual. She was able to converse and assist other passengers outside our group as well. Soula is very qualified and has a great sense of humour. The tour timing is just enough to see the palace and in the city see the archeological museum (which is awesome and has more security than the Louvre). The central meeting point in the city is adjacent to Liberty Square, the archeological museum and the Astoria. The square is great for lunch. Those of our group who went with Soula on a walking tour of the city had no time for the museum.

Long day on the bus - This activity was poorly organized and we spent more time in the bus going to and from Heraklion than we spent there. There were too many people on this tour and it took 1.75 hours to pick each group up from their hotels and the same on the way home. With this many people, the pick ups should have been grouped into smaller vans. We were happy to visit the palace and Heraklion but we should have been able to do much more in a 10 hour tour.
