Sightseeing Boat Tour In Archipelago of Helsinki: Departure 2pm June 10, 2024 - Professional staff boarded us and even made sure we had a blanket to keep warm. The upper deck has row seating and some tables. Bar counter service including alcohol is available. The informative multi-language narrative is clear and relevant. The blonde bar attendant with the braided ponytail has a smile you will not forget!

Two-day stay in Helsinki - I made reservation for Marski by Scandic hotel in Helsinki. The location was perfect, in the middle of old city. The rooms are clean, beds very comfortable, check-in and out are simple and fast, the staff nice. The only negative is very small closet space so we had to keep our clothes in the suitcase (we were traveling for two weeks and had more clothes than usually.

Very interesting harbour tour - We took the harbour tour which lasted for about 90 minutes. It took us down past the old Tahtitovinuori park and round to where the locals wash their rugs in the clean sea water. The boat went back to Suomenlinna island and then on to where there is an art installation on an old oil container. Past the new and still being built road bridge we got to see the large cathedrals from the other side of the island and the fleet of ice breakers in their summer rest. A great tour to see Helsinki and its harbour area from a new perspective.

Underwhelmed - The tour was average as far as scenery/experience. The inside cabin was extremely warm to unpleasant and we could not use the upper deck due to having a 95 year old person in our group.

Skip this - Skip this and go to the public sauna or a museum. The “guide” is a recording and you can get better and more meaningful history on the walking tour. We had beautiful weather but this would be miserable in poor weather. Totally boring and Helsinki can be so exciting.

AVOID THIS TOUR WITH THIS COMPANY - We took the tour thinking they would do the sightseeing tour offered. The audio did not work to know where we were going and we were not located on the map. After 45 minutes we were able to talk to someone from the crew and he told us that the circuit was not being respected and that the captain was taking the route where he wanted... DISAPPOINTING!!
