- Sibelius Park - The Sibelius Monument (Finnish: Sibelius-monumentti; Swedish: Sibeliusmonumentet), crafted by Eila Hiltunen, honors the renowned Finnish composer Jean Sibelius (1865–1957). This monument is situated within Sibelius Park.
- The Esplanadi Park - Located centrally in Helsinki, Esplanade Park is a popular promenade for visitors and a relaxing spot for locals. The park, along with the Espa Stage, hosts a variety of popular events, such as the Marimekko Fashion Show in June and the Jazz-Espa concert series throughout July.
- Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali) - Completed in 1868 in Helsinki’s Katajanokka district, Uspenski Cathedral stands as the largest Orthodox church in Western Europe. Its golden cupolas and redbrick facade are prominent symbols of the Russian influence on Finnish history.
- Kauppatori - Situated at the South Harbour at one end of Esplanade Park, Market Square is Helsinki’s most renowned and international market. The stalls offer traditional market foods, treats, handicrafts, and souvenirs. Additionally, heated café tents provide a cozy spot to enjoy a hot coffee even on the chilliest winter days.
- Temppeliaukio Church - Carved directly into solid rock, Temppeliaukio Church is located in central Helsinki, at the end of Fredrikinkatu. Its unique architecture, completed in 1969, makes it one of Helsinki’s top attractions.

Great way to learn about Helsinki and Finnish daily life! - Cornelia was knowledgeable, patient, and had a great sense of humor. We loved spending time with her and will contact her again on our next trip to Helsinki.

Tour guide was not photo friendly or happy - Was a decent tour until my guide seemed to be grumpy with me taking photos while on the tour. I was a little taken back by his annoyance when I would quickly video or take a picture of something he would stop talking completely and seem annoyed. I booked a private tour I wasn’t even asking him to take my picture and didn’t even take many pictures or videos because of feeling a bit judged when doing so. I actually had to let him know I didn’t like feeling I was offending him by taking pictures and that I can in-fact listen while to him speak while doing so. If I was in a group tour maybe it would of been better. All around a odd guide who made it not very enjoyable.
