Highlight of our time in Finland - We loved our Wild Frame Adventures tour! Patricia was our guide and was beyond friendly, welcoming, and knowledge. Getting out into nature was beyond worth it - incredibly peaceful and idyllic. Highlights include learning to chop wood, a delicious campfire meal, seeing some frogs on the path, and unexpectedly getting you join in Wild Frame Adventures second birthday (congrats again)!

This is one of the best... - This is one of the best day in our one-month Nordic trip. The weather was perfect, very sunny and cool. The forest was both gray and green, with icy and running stream. Breaktaking view of the frozen lake. Wood choping was a brand new experience for us - people from the big cities. Patricia cooked good lunch, and her berry juice was super delicious. It was the best drink we had in Finland. Her recommendation about chocolade was helpful. It was a relaxed hike, so we had a lot of chances for pictures. You should bring your own paper tissue, as the bio toilets had no facilities.

Great hike and lunch with knowledgeable guide! - The city of Helsinki is just like any big city so I was very happy to see this hike offered. I enjoyed the park and delicious lunch (sausages, squeaky cheese, hand pies) that our guide prepared. We helped chop wood and carry it to the bbq site. Our guide Patrica, was so knowledgeable about the park, wildlife, and local vegetation. 10/10. They thought of everything that we might need to participate. I highly recommend this hike.

Best Nuuksio tour you can find! - I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to learn more about Finnish nature and get out of the city for a day! Patricia is an AMAZING guide! She’s friendly and informative and you can tell she’s passionate about nature and sustainability. It’s nice that the tour is small group (Max 8 people) because you get to set the pace. There’s definitely some uphill (stairs and trail hiking) but I would say that the overall hike is moderately easy and there are lots of breaks if you need them. The tour provided warm berry juice, sitting pads, snacks, and a very substantial lunch with vegetarian and meat options. They also had backpacks and crampons for those that need them. Overall I think it was a fantastic experience and would definitely do again.

A must do hiking trip! - Nuuksio National park hiking with campfire lunch is an adventure I researched prior to my trip to Helsinki. It is a relatively new company with experienced guides who are focused on providing customers with an excellent experience. There were five in our group along with our guide, Patricia. She was awesome! Prior to the trip she touched base to make sure we were all prepared for the trip and informed of what we needed to bring with us. She was on time at our meeting place, made sure we all introduced ourselves and was informative on our 45 minute drive up to the forest. It was a beautiful day for a hike. There were some snow and ice patches along with trail and she made sure to inform us of places where we needed to exercise more caution. (There were no casualties!). For lunch, we shared in sawing logs and splitting firewood for our campfire and Patricia cooked a several course lunch that was excellent. We then finished our hike and returned to Helsinki. I highly recommend this tour and encourage you to ask for Patricia. You will not be disappointed!!!

Lovely hike in the beautiful Finnish countryside - We had a wonderful time on the Nuuksio hiking trip this week. Patricia led the trip and was an excellent guide, taking care of our safety (providing spikes for our boots for the icy conditions) and explaining about the fauna and flora we discovered on the hike. We were taken through the safe and correct ways to saw logs to a usable size before using an axe to split the logs. A fire was made and a plentiful array of delicious Finnish goodies were cooked. All in all a great experience superbly led by Patricia who was a fun and passionate guide.

Extremely enjoyable. - A really great nature day led by Patricia. Picked up from a convenient and easy to find place in the city centre. Wet and snow weather gear were provided and a lovely traditional lunch cooked. Patricia was very friendly and passionate about the tour. Highly recommend.

Wonderful day - A wonderful day in Nuuksio National Park, we were so lucky to be on a solo trip with our lovely guide Patricia. She was warm and friendly and so knowledgeable and interesting. We really enjoyed our hike through the park, not too strenuous but a good work out! it was a very cold day and so pretty with all the snow. Patricia was happy to take photos for us. She showed us how to saw and chop wood for our campfire and we enjoyed our Finnish lunch very much. We learnt a lot about Finnish culture and Patricia was proud to share this with us. A great Ambassador. We thoroughly recommend this trip - thank you so much for a memorable day.
