An interesting historical defense and military tour - This tour showed us the current military positions and the historical military positions of Finland and the interesting ways the Finnish people live in their archipelago environment.

Enjoyable tour of Helsinki - Our local guide was very knowledgeable. We got to see the main tourist sights in Helsinki along with the Suomenlinna fortress. Guide gave us great recommendations for food and shopping at the city market after our tour was finished. Highly recommend this tour.

Rich history! - This tour was packed full of engaging activities that provided an excellent overview of the history and life on Modern Helsinki. Smooth trip by boat to an island, also rich in history.

Great fun in Helsinki and Suomenlinna - The first part of the tour was around Helsinki, and we had Harry who had a terrific sense of humor and a real love for history. He was friendly and fun. Then we went to Suomenlinna, we had Sergio who we also loved. He was kind, caring, and always made sure he kept up with us stragglers and repeated anything we missed. We had Sergio for the tour of Porvoo and that was wonderful as well.

Nice Way to See the City and Historical Context - 5 hour tour was moderate pace, plenty of walking to go with the bus and boat ride so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues. Nice way to see a chunk of history about the city. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and easy to talk to while keeping the proper pace to get all of the sites in on time.

Great tour! - Sanna made this a great experience. Being from Finland, she was so knowledgable about the culture and the country. The tour of Helsinki spots really hit all the important places and Suomenlinna Island was beautiful to see. Highly recommend!

Overall, a positive... - Overall, a very positive experience, I enjoyed learning about the culture, history and conventions with my tour guide who was delightful. It was raining day but rains didn’t stop me from having fun.. I recognize not all wanted to hear about all the history but I did, I had to walk faster to catch up with the pace so I didn’t miss out any information. One suggestion is to walk a ittle slower so some elder folks can catch and the tour guide didn’t have to repeat what she said.

Cultural experience - Sanna is extremely knowledgeable able the culture and historical elements of the venues we visited. The rain did dampen the island tour and Monday the cathedral was closed, but extras like the chance to try Finnish tar candy and chocolate was a touching gesture for the group.

The tour operator changed... - The tour operator changed the pickup location and luckily we just happened to be meeting a friend on the same tour so we found out about the change through him not the tour operator. It was a lot more walking than we anticipated too. It was an ok tour but anyone can take a ferry to the island no need for a tour…
