A beautiful trip into nature - It was a real pleasure to make this little excursion with Jef, we enjoyed the time and the beautiful landscape and felt also like we learned a bit more about Finish nature and culture. Would totally recommend if you have some extra time in Helsinki! Note: Grat blueberry muffins made from Jefs wife Kia were an absolute joy to eat.

Excellent excursion! - This trip was the perfect addition to our short visit to the capital Helsinki. In this half day we were able to get a bit in touch with the beautiful finnish nature and countryside, which occupies an important place in the culture and lifestyle of this country. The trip was physically easy for our group (age 20 - 55) and we could fully concentrate on enjoying the walk, observing, investigating the surroundings, taking pictures. During the whole trip, Jeff, extremly knowledgable guide, gave us a lot of interesting information not only about the fauna and flora but also about the history of Porkalla. The lunch he prepared for us was delicious. The weather was incredibly kind to us and on the way back we were lucky to see a moose that was grazing by the road. We definitely recommend this trip.

One of the BEST you can take!! - Jeff and his wife are hardworking team players who enjoy what they do when showing off what the country has to offer. Mainly went to one of the national parks that is at the peninsula and had a wonderfully prepared smoked salmon vegetable soup by Jeff. He was doing literally everything a super guide can possibly accomplish multitasking with so much efficiency. We left and returned on time!! My husband and I are from Texas USA and Jeff managed to make out your group blend with friendships made in the end. You will be missing out if you don’t book this trip so take it without hesitation. It’s truly a wonderful experience worth the buck!!

Hike and Lunch on the Archipelago - My third trip with Taiga Times, the last being in Jan 2023. These small group trips are such a wonderful way to see and experience the Finnish national parks. They are very well organised and Geoff is a great host - extremely friendly and very knowledgeable on all things flora and fauna. Our seaside lunch was fantastic (as were the previous ones) and we had some time to do our own exploring while this was prepared. I would highly recommend any of their trips at any time of the year (having done three).
