What a Day@ - Our tour guide was Simon Adolf. He was so knowledgeable we never got tired of his tour information. The tour itself was AMAZING! I would recommend to family and friends in a heartbeat. Simon made an extra stop to an EMPTY black sand beach, encouraged everyone to walk bearfoot to get closer to nature on the beach, played great music and was an excellent driver!

Must do - We just finished our 11 day cruise from New York to Iceland. After reading the reviews, I decided to do this tour. Boy, oh boy, so glad that I did. Well worth the money, the time, so if you’re thinking about it, just do it. Andre was the best guide. He has so much passion, The 10 hours felt like two! The restaurant close to the Black Beach was one of the best we’ve tasted in Iceland. The last stop is a must see, even if you are tired, get out and experience the magical rainbow. Thank you Andre for the unforgettable experience!

Learn Iceland The Native Way!! - Today, I learned so many things about the Iceland, it’s culture, language, evolution, the flora and fauna, and the people’s symbioses with nature, and the EastWest tour played a pivotal part in this, especially because of our tour guide Halli, who’s also a proud Icelander himself 💌 He enriched each and every place we visited with details about the waterfalls, about the volcanic activity that occupies the whole of Iceland, how the people still live in their native towns because of how deeply they feel for their hometown, despite warnings about eruptions and a tsunami that would come about because of the active Hekla volcano under an enormous glacier that’s quite close to the black sand beach. He told us about the mynk animal and its impact in Iceland as well as how Icelandic is the fourth most difficult language to learn. We learned about just how fast the climate has changed and how Icelanders love the snow because it brighten the place up during the dark dark winters, but how there’s been little snow in the region and the people here hope for a white Christmas to lift the holiday spirits. He even recommended other activities like visiting the US navy aircraft crash site as a place to visit and paragliding as an adventure activity to do here, and suggested great food items to consider at our refreshment stops (the fish and chips and the soups at the Black Sea beach refreshment stop were absolutely outstanding). I also loved the hot chocolate served at the waterfalls ♥️ He made such a remarkable impact on the whole journey, especially when we played some Icelandic musicians on the way back (this is when I learned one of the bands I listen to is Icelandic!). I really recommend EastWest tours, it was truly such a pleasurable and educational experience to learn about Iceland is such a native and wholesome way ♥️

Amazing South coast with brilliant guide - I went on the tour yesterday with EastWest and had an amazing day thanks to our guide Tony! He made the tour so personal and constantly checked the weather so that we would avoid the rain. He gave us a great insight on Iceland and shared so much information with us about the different places we went. You could clearly see his passion for Iceland and for being a guide! The sights during the tour were amazing and we were given plenty of time at each location and never felt rushed. I'd definitely recommend joining this tour as it gives a great overview of Iceland as it covers waterfalls, glaciers and black sand beaches!

South Coast Summer - Awesome day trip. Natural wonder after natural wonder. Good walking trip, but not technical hiking so it's great for all ages. Devin was particularly helpful and knowledgeable. A good way to begin getting to know Iceland!

Waterfalls, mountains and gorgeous views, great stories! - We had such a wonderful tour with Simon! The music playlist on the bus was great! Beautiful views and great conversation. Simon had so much information and fun anecdotal stories to to share. He was a safe driver and the views were amazing! I'm attaching a few photos of the tour. We were really glad that we came prepared with waterproof hiking shoes, rain pants and rain jackets, since that made exploring the waterfalls even more fun.

Cheers/Skal for a great Experience - What an amazing experience. Leroy was our tour guide and he brought us to all the sites listed and snuck in an additional stop so we could see Puffins up close. He was informative as well as funny. The two waterfalls at the end really topped off a great day. I would/will recommend this tour to anyone visiting Iceland. Even though it starts at 9am and you don’t get back till 7pm it didn’t feel as long. Lots of stops at amazing sites/locations. Mini Bus was comfortable and keeps you out of the hustle of the much bigger coaches. Cheers/Skal Brian

Had an amazing time - The tour was insightful and entertaining and our guide was incredibly helpful and gave us information about a bunch of things on the way to and from the different locations. He even helped me find the fastest way to my airbnb and figured out a good route by bus by dropping me off to the most effective station. Had a great time.

Not to be missed! - Our local guide was so knowledgeable. He was able to look at weather and adjust our entire itinerary and day to adjust for it which ultimately kept us dry and comfortable (aside from the waterfall mist of course). Amazing journey, breathtaking scenery and not to be missed!
