Set off eastwards from Reykjavik across the southern coastline, your initial stops are the stunning Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls.
Continue to Reynisfjara, a black sand beach at the southernmost tip of Iceland. Here, marvel at the vast basalt columns and perhaps explore the sea caves if the tide is favorable.
Your next destination is Vik, a quaint seaside village recognized for its basalt sea stacks. According to local lore, these structures are petrified trolls who were transformed into stone while frolicking in the waves.
Wrap up your day with a stop at the spectacular Solheimajokull glacier before heading back to Reykjavik where you will be dropped off at your starting point.
