Excellent way to experience the south coast. - Unforgettable Glacier Hike, Coastal Waterfalls, and Black Sand Beach Tour in Iceland I recently embarked on the Glacier Hike, Coastal Waterfalls, and Black Sand Beach Tour along Iceland’s stunning southern coast, and it was a highlight of my trip. Our small-group tour, limited to 15 people, began at 8 AM in Reykjavik. Our guide, Thomas, skillfully navigated around a local festival to pick everyone up on time, setting the tone for a well-organized day. Thomas was an exceptional guide—knowledgeable, engaging, and full of fascinating insights about Icelandic history, culture, and geology. His commentary brought each site to life, making the experience both educational and immersive. We started with a thrilling glacier hike, equipped with crampons and ice axes for safety. The shimmering blue ice formations were breathtaking, and Thomas ensured everyone felt confident during the moderately challenging trek. Next, we visited the iconic Reynisfjara black sand beach, with its dramatic basalt columns and powerful Atlantic waves. Spotting puffins nesting on the nearby cliffs was an unexpected delight, adding a touch of wildlife magic to the day. The tour culminated with a visit to the spectacular Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where we had the unforgettable opportunity to walk behind the cascading water. The misty view, complete with rainbows in the spray, was absolutely magical—though a waterproof jacket is a must! Thomas paced the tour perfectly, allowing ample time for photos and questions while keeping everything on track. This tour was a seamless blend of adventure, nature, and cultural immersion, and I’d rate it 5/5 stars for its value, stunning scenery, and expert guidance. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Iceland, especially nature lovers and first-timers!

A must do - This is one of the most exilerating adventures I have ever done. The guide was exceptional. He explained everything we needed to know about safety, the history of the areas we visited, and was a generally a great person. I will tell you that it is very strenuous and you need to be in good shape. But the Glacier is beautiful, the scenery is fabulous. It's a small group tour, we had only 14 people.

Very good family experience - Very good experience The walk on the glacier is rather short but not the choice to see the other sites. The landscape of the glacier is spectacular. The beach DE sable noir is more classic, watch out for the violence DEs waves (accident when we were there), watch your children closely. The DEux waterfalls live up to what the tourist sites describe. Our guide DE and driver was very attentive to make us the most interesting day possible, very attentive to our needs. Very pleasant day

Einar was a great guide - Great experience. All of the locations were extremely beautiful and Einar was kind and pointed out landmarks along with explanations throughout the drive. Plenty of time to explore each of the areas and the hike can be done by most people.
