Enjoy a Day Tour in Luxor City
Valley of the Kings - Explore the Valley of the Kings, renowned for its magnificent burial architecture. Many kings are buried here, including King Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tut-Ankh-Amon, King Ramssess VI, King Mrenptah, and Amonhotep II. This royal burial ground features exquisitely decorated tombs for pharaohs who ruled Egypt between 1539 and 1075 BC. With over 60 tombs, only a few are open to the public. Here are the best tombs to visit in the Valley of the Kings.
Colossi of Memnon - The Colossi of Memnon, also known as el-Colossat or el-Salamat, are two monumental statues representing Amenhotep III (1386-1353 BCE) of the 18th Dynasty. Located west of Luxor, they face east toward the Nile River. The statues depict the seated king on a throne adorned with imagery of his mother, wife, the god Hapy, and other symbolic engravings. Each statue stands 60 ft (18 meters) high and weighs 720 tons, carved from single sandstone blocks.
Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - The Temple of Hatshepsut is a memorial temple honoring Queen Hatshepsut and is one of Egypt’s greatest architectural achievements. Designed by Senenmut, Hatshepsut’s steward and architect, this mortuary temple resembles classical Greek architecture from 1,000 years later. Located on the west bank of the Nile, opposite Luxor (ancient Thebes), Hatshepsut’s temple is part of the Theban Necropolis. Built in a half-circle of cliffs, this memorial temple marks the entrance to the Valley of the Kings. Djeser Djeseru (holy of holiest) is the main building of Hatshepsut’s temple.
Temple of Karnak - Karnak Temple, a monumental example of worship, is dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu. The Karnak Temple Complex, commonly known as Karnak, is a vast mix of temples, pylons, chapels, and other buildings near Luxor, Egypt. Construction began during Senusret I’s reign in the Middle Kingdom and continued into the Ptolemaic Kingdom, with most existing buildings dating from the New Kingdom. The area around Karnak was the ancient Egyptian Ipet-isut, the main worship place of the 18th Dynastic Theban Triad, with the god Amun as its head. It is part of the monumental city of Thebes and was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1979, along with the rest of the city. Karnak is named after the nearby modern village of El-Karnak, 2.5 kilometers north of Luxor.
Afterward, you will be transferred by car to Hurghada City, where you will check into a hotel for an overnight stay.

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - This tour takes you to one of Cairo’s most remarkable sites, the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square, featuring fabulous antiquities and artifacts, including the Golden treasures of King Tut Ankh Amun. Your guide will lead you through the chambers, highlighting the museum’s main attractions.
Hanging Church (El Muallaqa, Sitt Mariam, St Mary) - The most famous site in Coptic Cairo is the Church of the Virgin Mary, known as the Hanging Church. Its name derives from its construction atop the walls of the 4th century BC Roman fortress of Babylon, remnants of which are still visible in Coptic Cairo. Although the effect is diminished today due to the ground level rising over 30 feet from accumulated trash and dust, the church originally towered above its surroundings on the fortress’s high walls.
Khan Al-Khalili - Khan el-Khalili is a renowned bazaar and souq in Cairo’s historic center. Established as a trade center in the Mamluk era and named after one of its historic caravanserais, the bazaar district is now a major attraction for tourists and Egyptians alike.
