Overall was a great experience with friendly staff. Felt very welcomed. Was only when waiting inside for tour of indoor garden area encountered the only rude worker. 2 different things. 1st - kept asking us if the door was open as other people came in. If we said yes, she would say, “Well, not heating the outside now are we?” Or “Sure is cold”. Someone would then say something about shutting the door. She would then rudely respond about it be obvious the door should be shut. Now we stood in this room waiting for the tour for probably 10 min. Over this time the same thing was said maybe 5 times. Each time with a look from the person that would shut the door like - “why didn’t you just ask for the door to be shut no need to be rude.?” A simple sign would help. 2nd issue same person - waited for 10 plus minutes talking with this person on and off about taking the tour WITH our 4 small children in the room with us. She waited until she was starting the tour to tell us “This tour is for adults or older children only as younger children and too small and loud and no one will be able to hear me talk” “Please leave and go outside” - 100 percent get it however my complaint is - you asked us 10 minutes ago if we were going on the tour and chatted with us about it. Why wait until the start and there is a room full of people to say we are not welcome? You could say maybe waiting to see how many people showed up, but there were no additional people for the tour after a few minutes of us being there. Maybe 10 people total not including our group of 7.

It wasn't what I expected. The photos on the website don't match reality. They have nothing to do with what you put there. The website shows a beautiful castle, but what you actually see is a gray castle due to lack of paint and poor maintenance. You can't go inside the castle to see the rooms and furniture. You can only go to a small garden downstairs, which isn't very pretty. Very expensive for the almost nothing that is offered. I won't be back and I don't recommend it.
