On this private tour, participants will experience Heidelberg, a prominent tourist destination in Germany, along with the region’s renowned Christmas market, all in one day. They will explore the enchanting Heidelberg, featuring its romantic castle and charming baroque old town. In an engaging and enjoyable way, they will gain insights into the area’s history and stunning landmarks. A lunch break (not included) will be held at a typical, cozy German restaurant, offering local specialties as well as international or vegetarian dishes.
In the afternoon, the tour will continue to Mannheim to visit the romantic Christmas market set in a spectacular location around the famous water tower and Belle Époque ensembles.
During the car journey, the guide will provide plenty of fascinating information about Germany in general and offer helpful tips for the rest of the vacation. The guide will be fluent in both German and English, and upon request, can also speak “easy English” for guests who are not proficient in English.
