• Weststadt - The return journey takes us through the charming Wilhelminian-style western town, where glimpses of Christmas trees can be seen through the windows of warmly lit living rooms as we pass by.
• Bismarckplatz Park - Here, the first of many Christmas markets awaits. Situated right at the entrance to the old town, it brings a festive touch to the lively atmosphere of Bismarckplatz.
• Old Bridge (Karl Theodor Bridge) - This spot offers the perfect opportunity to capture photos of Heidelberg Castle, the Neckar River, and the Old Town. After a brief pause on the Neckar’s banks with a view of the castle, we cross the river via the Old Bridge and enter Heidelberg’s historic old town.
• Kornmarkt - A quaint Christmas market with a direct view of the castle.
• New University (Neue Universitat) - At Universitätsplatz, visitors can enjoy the largest variety of culinary delights and regional handicrafts.
• Carl’s Square (Karlsplatz) - The second market on the tour is nestled in the heart of the old town. This is where the popular ice rink is located, drawing visitors each year.

• This tour focuses on the visual experience and atmosphere of Heidelberg in the evening and the Christmas market and therefore includes fewer stops than the “Discover Heidelberg” tour. The trip is just as much a part of the experience as the visit to the Christmas market itself, for which time is planned.
