These solemn processions present an impressive display of faith and devotion, with life-size statues carried on the shoulders of bearers, moving from the parish church through the village streets.

Brass bands accompany the beautifully carved statues, some of which are centuries old, illustrating the passion and death of Jesus Christ.

Local villagers dress as Roman soldiers, Jewish priests, and significant Biblical figures, reenacting key moments from the life and passion of Our Lord.
