Great day out to the beautiful Blue Mountains. Ronnie was amazing! - Ronnie the guide picked us up in CBD and after a brief introduction we hit the road for Featherdale Wildlife Park (about 40mins outside Sydney) Featherdale was a great opportunity to see a huge variety of indigenous Aussie animals including sleepy Koalas, Kangaroos, Wombats, Echidnas, all sorts and of bird species and even a Saltwater Croc. You can feed the 'Roos by hand - even the bigger ones! I would have liked to have known more about the conservation and animal rescue services the centre provides, but even so - it was a great experience. After this we hit the Great Western Highway for Katoomba and the Blue Mountains (about an hour and a half away) and along the way we had a fantastic mix of Ronnie's jokes and banter and a lot of fascinating info about Australia and its history, the wildlife, the Blue Mountains National Park. He was hilarious, we laughed and laughed. We stopped off at Olympic Viewpoint in Leura which offered breathtaking views on the Blue Mountains, with very few other tourist parties in attendance. Ronnie was the consummate cameraman for us all (small group of 16 people) Katoomba and Scenic World were also a great experience and a great place for lunch. Recommend the Skywalk!!! On the road back we had a playlist of Australia's top bands and tracks and a little furry Koala badge gift for all of our party, from Ronnie. All in all a great day out with one of the best guides around. Thank you Ronnie!!!

Lovely day out in the Blue mountains & getting to see Kangaroos up close - We did the Blue mountains tour with Guill. We got picked up from Sydney CBD area and brought to the wildlife park first. The wildlife park was very cool, feeding the kangaroos and wombats was a highlight of my time in Sydney. Guill then brought us to various spots around the blue mountains before lunch and then onto the Waterfall walk. The views were amazing and we were so lucky with the weather. The three sisters view point and looking up at Katoomba falls were highlights of the day out. Guill was a 10/10 guide. He has such a love for the wildlife and the mountains which was lovely to see. The tour brings you back to where you get on the bus which was great also. I would 100% recommend the tour to all groups. The walk might be a bit daunting in the waterfalls but it is 100% worth it!!!! PS leave your white coloured trainers or shoes at home as they will get muddy!

I enjoyed and highly recommend - I think that this tour is great for sightseeing. You get a test from everything, and not too intensive. Gill, the tour guide is amazing and kind. I really liked to wildlife center, it's a nice start to feed the Wallabies. Even when it was a bit cold, it was totally worth it.

Made the most of bad weather - This was a good trip. Unfortunately the weather was really rainy and foggy but our tour guide still took us to all the spots and gave us loads of information about the aboriginal people and mountains. We also stoped at a wildlife park which was a highlight for me. Imagine the views would be awesome on a clear day

No animal welfare at this zoo - The driver was nice, the bus very uncomfortable. Unfortunately I was deceived by the label eco and animal welfare guidelines are adhered to. I think it is generally good that emissions are offset. But! The zoo is just bad. It's called a wildlife park here. It's a petting zoo. I just felt bad there. The animals hardly have retreat options. Although they are barriers where guests can't go, this is still not a retreat. The koalas are each in a box with one tree each. Not a retreat. The cages are generally very small and only moderately decorated for humans outback. This has nothing to do with the natural habitat. Trip advisor should urgently check here if they really want to assign the pet-directed label. Then we went to the observation decks. That was more of a we drive there and are there 15min. Nice to see, but not anymore. The best part was the little hike. It goes up and down a few steps. You also get the first explanation here and the story of the 3 sisters. That's the only part that really paid off for me.
