It's worth walking around in a couple of hours - Pleasant coastal town, you can also easily visit with the tourist train that in all languages tells the story, many beautiful shops in the pedestrian area with characteristic items and not free entry

A really enjoyable and varied excursion. - My teenaged companions pronounced this excursion the best thing during our Norwegian cruise. They adored feeding the sheep and everything about our visit - the apple cake, the short scenic walk, the views and the delightful people. We really enjoyed listening to Tom tell us about the history of the farm and the sheep and border collie. We also visited the intriguing horse statues and the national monument with our excellent guide and driver in a first rate vehicle. All was great, but clearly the sheep were the firm favourites!

Kringsa Farm, The Rising Tides and The Monument - Great tour with Viking Adventures the highlight being the visit to Kringsjå Farm and the hospitality received there from Tom and his wife and the adorable Lissie the border collie. Throughly recommend this trip to adults and children alike . Our tour guide was great. Be advised the walk may be a bit much for any of the party with mobility issues but worth every step . The Rising Tides and The Monument also well worth the visit. Stunning Norway .

A stand out trip on our cruise! - We visited Tom and his wife on their farm after booking port side when visiting on P&O’s Britannia. We didn’t book in advance, instead asked the kerbside rep what she would recommend and had available for our family (2 adults and 2 children aged 12 &2). The recommended this excursion and I am so glad they did. The minibus ride was short and lovely and cool, in a modern vehicle. We were guided by the most lovely Norwegian man, who’s name I so wish I could remember. Our guide had retired and you could see his passion and interest in Norway and the local area. He chatted on the ride about what we could see in the village and gave interesting facts and information. Once parked, we were led on a lovely scenic trek to the farm. The walk was beautiful and whist there was a little uneven terrain (I wouldn’t take a stroller or wheelchair), it was easily managed by our 2 year old. We reached the farm and we’re greeted by Thomas and his lovely wife who had baked fresh apple cake. The children were offered ice creams and water and the adults given hot drinks. Thomas showed us around the buildings and was again so wonderfully natured. He was so engaged and interested in the children, making everyone feel included. After refreshments, we went and fed the sheep and even got to hold some of the lambs. My son was particularly taken by the baby chickens and again got to hold them. We were there for maybe an hour, then very sadly we had to say our good byes and walk back to the minibus. Once aboard we were taken to visit the horse statues and the national monument. It was a thoroughly enjoyable trip and I cannot fault the service of our guide, Thomas and his wife and even the lady we booked with. It was the highlight of our cruise and I hope Tom gets to see this review!

A great local excursion - A bit of a hike and unsuitable for the frail or those with pushchairs. We were on a cruise and booked port side with a local provider. Superb 24 seater modern coach and excellent guides

Cool trip! - Fast boat trip, good guide/captain, very good protective clothing which is available for free. A bit expensive for what it offers. Still had fun!
