Kimono and Tea Ceremony on beautiful island! - We had an amazing kimono and tea ceremony experience in the morning. The temple was beautiful and we got really nice photos in the garden. Also, we learned about the four principles of tea-making in Buddhism and is a must-do for anyone looking for a traditional Japanese experience.

A Wonderful Experience - This was one of the highlights of our 3 weeks in Japan. The place was so serene, calm and relaxing. We were very happy to be dressed up in a Kimono and the time and patience of the two ladies who dressed us was amazing. The ceremony was really well done and its so nice to learn something about this aspect of Japanese culture. Highly recommended.

Special experience - My family and I did the tea ceremony and kimono experience and really enjoyed it. The tea house was beautiful and the staff were very kind, accommodating and although it was a tourist experience it felt as authentic as possible. The kimonos were gorgeous and very high quality. I would recommend the tour as an immersive Japanese experience.

Great Kimono and tea ceremony experience - Lovely place in a temple to discover the proper way to put a Kimono and how to drink tea in a tea ceremony. Sweets were good and there is plenty of choices of Kimono. Very welcoming staff, I had a lovely time.

A LASTING IMPRESSION OF JAPANESE CULTURE. - there are many reasons to take a day strolling around itsukushima island [the prominent 'floating' tori certainly draws a crowd looking for 'selfies'] - but tucked away in a cul de sac a few hundred meters away from the jetties is a peaceful / quiet / unpretentious building that affords an opportunity to savor the experience of being introduced to a genuine tea ceremony - the kimono attire is a must if you really wish to immerse yourself in this ancient practice - patient guidance is politely provided by both the instructor & interpreter [you will make a few errors = nothing to be embarrassed about] & if you 'go with the flow' you will enjoy the exercise all the more - the serenity of the setting certainly provides for an enjoyable / reflective pause from your usual hectic [or humdrum] world - as i am 'wont to say' [google it!] = "well worth the price of admission" - and while you are there do take a little time to appreciate the beauty of the attached gardens - ありがと.

Tea Ceremony - I absolutely LOVED this experience! The ladies were so kind and gentle and made me feel very comfortable! While i performed it on my own they even recorded for me and sent to me through Instagram. I ended up buying an elegant tea set ! So excited !

A charming and fun experience - I visited with friends as a group of four, and we were treated so specially: dressed in full kimono, shown the art of tea ceremony and then taught how to perform the steps ourselves, and then given plenty of time to ask questions and take pictures to share.

Experience with an ancient flavor - We didn't find the place right away. But once they arrived the two ladies were very sweet and kind. They followed us in dressing, photos and videos, and at the ceremony. You could feel the tradition of ritual.
