Our guide did not seem experienced. My husband has two artificial hips, and she did not know where to place him safely or how to deal with his discomfort in the raft. We got stuck on two rocks. I saw the rocks ahead. They could have been avoided. One time another guide had to come, get in the water, and push us off the huge rock. I almost flew out when we hit a smaller rock. The guide seemed very hesitant about how to handle the class 3 rapid. We did maneuver it safely. One other guide in our group was evicted from his raft. Another raft collided with a bridge support. I have been on other rafting trips with class 3 and 4 rapids. The experience was fun and not stressful.
