Sani Pass, Mokhotlong & Basotho Experience

Sani Pass - Guests can either meet at our offices or be picked up from their hotel or B&B if located within a 5km radius. The journey begins in a comfortable 4X4 vehicle with a private driver guide, departing from the charming town of Underberg. The route ascends the rugged Sani Pass, with stops at various scenic viewpoints. Upon reaching the summit at 2874 meters above sea level, the tour enters Lesotho.

Mokhotlong - After enjoying tea at the Sani Top Church at the peak of the Sani Pass, the journey continues into Lesotho. The tour proceeds up Black Mountain Pass for a brief walk to a lookout point offering views of Thabana Ntlenyana, the highest peak in Southern Africa at 3482 meters above sea level. The trip continues to Mokhotlong through the breathtaking Sehonghong Valley, with a stop for an authentic Basotho experience, including a visit to the Ngaka (traditional healer) and the artefact house. The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay in Mokhotlong.
