A spiritual Indian journey - Ajay Took myself and christene around Rishikesh and Haridwar Could not wish for a better person to Show us around. An true Indian experience - This is hands down the best thing we did whilst in India! We did the usual tourist attractions which were also great but this tour really gave us a truly Indian experience. This is the India we wanted to see! Ajay picked us up (5 minutes early with a whattsap to say he had arrived) and then took us directly to Rishikesh where we were met by a local guide who took us around and explained all of the local customs to us. We were even able to participate in a local Hindu ceremony and received a blessing. We then went to Hardiwar where we sat on the steps of the Ganges River to watch the fire ceremony. Ajay arranged for us to have hands-down the best seats in the house. He also doubled up as our body guard for the day/night (not that we needed one 🤣❤️). If you are looking for an authentic experience then this is the thing for you! Why should you go for this one more than the others? Ajay sat and enthusiastically joined in the ceremony with us and although he had done so about 500 times previously, he enjoyed the beauty of the it as much as us, who were seeing it for the first time. Do yourself a favour and go and experience this jaw dropping day/night! Go home with over 200 pics and videos of the day like we did! This will take some beating ….. Ajay thank you for driving for 9 hours and not using your horn once! 🤣. Thank you for being our photographer for the day and thank you for giving us that Bollywood ending ❤️! A true Indian experience! - This is hands down the best experience we have done since arriving in India! If you are looking for a truly Indian experience then this is the one for you! Everything about this day was perfect! We were picked up spot on time (5 minutes early) and driven by Ajay to Rishikesh where we met a local guide who knew everything about the area and all of the local customs. We were able to participate in a local Hindu ceremony and experience a little bit of village life. We were then taken to Haridwar where we had a lovely lunch and then seated by the Ganges river waiting on the fire ceremony to begin. Ajay made sure we had the best seats in the house and even doubled up as our bodyguard while there (not that we needed one 🤣). We had the choice of doing one of the main tourist attractions or going here and I am so glad we opted for this! This has been the only thing we have done in India where you really get to see the local culture and feel a part of it. We have come home to over 200 videos and pictures from just the one day. Ajays driving was second to none with not one single horn peep on the 9 hour round trip! Why should you chose this specific tour and not the other ones? Ajay sat and participated in the ceremony with us and said he still loved doing so even after having done it nearly 500 times over his 16 years of going! Do yourself a favour and go experience this! You really won’t regret it! Thank you Ajay for the amazing memories from today! It really did have the same ending as a Bollywood movie …… you have 2 very happy tourists! ❤️
