Snow Festival at Sun Island, Other Attractions, Ice Festival at Harbin Ice and Snow World

Sun Island (Tai Yang Dao) - The Harbin private guide will meet guests at their hotel at 9:00 am, then proceed to the spectacular Snow Festival at Sun Island, where various snow sculptures can be admired and activities on the frozen lake can be enjoyed.

Harbin Snow Fair - During winter, Sun Island hosts the snow fair, making it a prime location for this event.

Harbin Ice and Snow World - After enjoying the snow fair on Sun Island, guests will have a lunch break before heading to the Harbin Ice Festival at Harbin Ice and Snow World. Here, they can marvel at the illuminated ice palace. Finally, guests will be transported back to their hotel.

Ice Festival Harbin - This is located at the same venue as Harbin Ice and Snow World. If time permits before visiting the ice festival, guests can explore other attractions of interest by discussing with their tour guide in the morning.

Ice Swimming Show, Songhua River Ropeway, Russian Town, Zhongyang Pedestrian Street, Saint Sophia Cathedral, Dragon Tower

Harbin Swimming Hall - Guests will meet their guide in the hotel lobby at 9:20 am, starting with the Ice Swimming Show at Songhua River Pool, where they can watch Chinese and Russian swimmers (occasionally) in the icy waters.

Harbin Ropeway - Next, guests will take the Harbin Songhua River Ropeway to view the snow-covered Songhua River from above, as well as the Russian town.

Zhongyang Pedestrian Street - The tour continues to Stalin Park, Flood Control Monument Square, and Zhongyang Pedestrian Street (Central Street), with a 30-minute city walk.

Saint Sophia Cathedral - The next stop is Saint Sophia Cathedral (St. Sophia Church), a stunning Eastern Orthodox Church. Although it is not a place for prayer, it offers historical photographs of Harbin from 100 years ago.

Longta Tower - In the afternoon, guests will visit Harbin Dragon Tower (Long Ta), a 336 m (1,102 ft) tall multi-purpose Chinese steel lattice television and observation tower, offering panoramic views of the city.

Zhaolin Park - The final stop is the Ice Lantern Festival at Zhaolin Park (open from the first of January). After the tour concludes, guests will be returned to their hotel.
