• Hanoi Opera House - Begin your day at 6:30 AM with a pickup at the Hanoi Opera House. If you’re staying in the Old Quarter area, hotel pickup is available. Then, proceed to Pu Luong Nature Reserve, which is approximately a 4-hour drive under normal traffic conditions.
• Trạm Dừng Nghỉ Bách Dung - Take a 15-minute break near Cuc Phuong National Park in Ninh Binh before continuing your journey to Pu Luong.
• Trường Tiểu Học Ban Công - Khu Tôm - Arrive in Pu Luong around 11:00 AM and meet your local guide at the excursion’s starting point. Cross a suspension bridge to explore one of Pu Luong’s most picturesque villages, where the largest stream flows. Along the river, enjoy breathtaking landscapes, rice fields, and village life in Pu Luong. Look for the giant water wheels, a remarkable creation by Vietnam’s ethnic minorities in the mountains.
• Bè Tre Suối Chàm - Reach Chieu Lau dam and embark on a bamboo rafting adventure. Paddle upstream with locals and savor the experience. In Pu Luong, activities like dining or singing on bamboo rafts may seem enjoyable initially, but they carry real risks, especially when water levels rise or flow rapidly after heavy mountain rain. Therefore, at Puluong Excursions, safety is prioritized: Life jackets are mandatory at all times.

Cross to the other side of the river and begin a 2km walk through rice fields and villages to complete a loop trail. During this leisurely morning stroll, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about native herbs and plants such as sweet leaf vegetables, jackfruit, pickled eggplant, betel leaves, and areca nuts. You’ll also discover more about bamboo, a symbol of Vietnamese spirit and an essential part of daily life in Pù Luông, as well as a rare mountain fish once reserved for kings and wealthy lords.

• Pu Luong Excursions - Around 4:00 PM, after completing the activities, your local guide will accompany you for part of the return journey.
