Got to see the major sights and learned a lot. Highly recommend David and Alice as tour guides. - David and Alice were great walking tour guides. Good pace. Very informative and showed us all the sights we wanted to see. They even timed the train through train road so that we got to see it go past and found us a cafe to get a coffee and watch.

A Fantastic way to see Hanai - This was a fantastic way to see Hanoi, given I only had a couple of days. My guide Hannan, was excellent, very knowledgeable about the city and Vietnam in general. She was happy to adapt her suggested itinerary to ensure we covered all of the items we were most interested. I would highly recommend this and if you have an option get "Hannah" to show you around this great city.

Perfect way to get a... - Perfect way to get a personal tour of Hanoi. We were met by Annie and Lily at our hotel. They were focused on what sites we wanted to see and worked with us to plan our day around what we could see on a Sunday because many places/museums are closed on Mondays. We went by Grab(we paid for everything since the tour was almost free) to Ho Chi Minh complex and just navigating that was worth their tour. We then went to the Old Quarter stopping for egg coffee and then banh mi for lunch. We went to Hoa Kiem lake and the French Quarter and the Hanoi Hilton which shows so much besides the Vietnam War. They were friendly, very informative and happy to share their Vietnamese customs and experiences with us. We highly recommend them and hope that everyone realizes that they don't get paid for the tour. We paid for their food and generously showed our appreciation at the end and hope that everyone else does too. Great day!

Fantastic local guides & local knowledge - Wonderful walking tour of @ 3-4 hrs duration with a knowledgeable local woman Huong,at Uni studying to become an English teacher for her career. A small group of three, and lots of time for questions re local life, great stop at the Note Cafe in the Old Quarter as well as a fun walk along Train Street. Also Pagoda / Temple in the centre of Hoan Kiem lake visit. Our guide was open to our wishes as well as ensuring significant local sites were seen such as the “Old House” with its history & interesting art with custom explanations, You miss so much unless you avail yourself of local , life & custom knowledge with a tour like this.

Don’t book a tour for a Monday - Our guides Shaun and Phoebe were really nice and friendly. Their knowledge of Hao Lo Prison was exceptional. We booked the tour for our first day in Hanoi, a Monday, and it turned out most of the major museums etc are closed on Mondays. Would have been helpful to have known this so we could have moved our say.
