- Old Quarter - Begin with a hotel pick-up and transfer to our bicycle store to select the perfect bike for your journey. Our guide will provide a briefing on navigating the city and the itinerary. Start from our designated point and ride through less trafficked alleys known mostly to locals. Experience the local lifestyle, ride under the Long Bien Bridge, explore the local market, and observe the daily activities of market-goers. Continue through narrow alleys leading up to Long Bien Bridge.
- Long Bien Bridge - On the Hanoi city bicycle tour, we head to Long Bien Bridge, a symbol of Hanoi’s resilience and tenacity. Built by the renowned Eiffel Construction company in 1902, it is the oldest bridge in Hanoi. Enjoy panoramic views of the Red River below. The tour continues through the serene banana and corn farms on Red River Island, away from the city’s hustle and bustle. This farming island, located in the heart of Hanoi, is a hidden gem for travelers. Visit a local family on the farm to learn about their lifestyle and enjoy tropical fruits.
- West Lake - Cycle along the banks of West Lake and stop to admire the stunning views on Thanh Nien Road. This spot offers a striking contrast between the ancient charm of the Old Quarter and the modern skyline. Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of a local market. Ride to Huu Tiep Lake in Ngoc Ha Flower Village to see the remains of an American B-52 aircraft shot down during the 1972 Christmas bombing. Visit a family home to learn about the daily life and traditions of Hanoians, with our guide acting as a translator.
- Ba Dinh Square - This route passes by major city highlights such as the nearly 200-year-old Hanoi Flag Tower, the Hanoi Opera House, the 1000-year-old Royal Thang Long Citadel, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, Ba Dinh Square, Tran Quoc Temple, and Truc Bach Lake.
- Train Street - Our journey takes us to the century-old Reunification Train Street, which runs through the heart of Hanoi, where residents live just centimeters from the tracks. This is a unique way to immerse yourself in the local side of bustling Hanoi. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, savoring Hanoi’s delicious cuisine, and then indulge in a unique Egg Coffee before returning to your hotel. Let us share our love for Hanoi with you.

Excellent Guide & Excellent Tour - There are a lot of bicycle tours in Hanoi, but I did my research on the Internet and chose Bicycle Tours Hanoi. I am very pleased I did! After my initial enquiry, Ms Hue dealt with me by WhatsApp, making everything very easy. We booked the half day cycle tour "Countryside & Backstreet". Our excellent guide, Mr Le, picked us up at our hotel and took us to the bikes. The bikes were really good - they were like mountain bikes with great suspension, which is really useful on some of the rougher tracks.
Le spoke perfect English and was an attentive and knowledgeable guide, making sure we were safe and giving us plenty of information about Hanoi, history and all the sites at our stopping points. We really enjoyed his company and would strongly recommend him as a guide. We cycled through the chaotic streets of Hanoi - which we absolutely loved, despite the madness of the traffic, visiting places we definitely wouldn't have found without a local guide. And we also went out onto Banana Island to visit the quiet lanes and a delightful farm. Here we were welcomed into the farmer's house for tea and biscuits - really good.
I would definitely recommend booking with this company and would definitely recommend Le as a guide. We had a really good tour. Thank you!

Hghly recommended bicycle trip - Very nice and interesting bicycle trip in the hectic Hanoi traffic. Visiting local farming family and had stops at interesting famous areas. Our guide Pink told us a lot of interesting facts about these areas. We ended up in Train street experiencing the train passing by. We highly recommend this event 👍 and Pink really gave us a time bever to be forgotten :-)

Great day in Hanoi! Trainstreet is the highlight. - The bike ride with pink was great. The transfer from the hotel went smoothly. He took a lot of time, we watched all the spots and he answered all the questions. Pink also paid close attention to crazy Hanoi traffic and I always felt safe. Highly recommended!
Thanks for the great tour!

Cycling around Hanoi - Had a wonderful final day in Hanoi/Vietnam cycling round the back streets (and a couple of main ones) and Banana island getting a feel for the lifestyle of the locals farmers, looking at the oldest Pagoda, oldest bridge and mausoleum, our guide (Pink) was an amazing guide who told us lots of fact about his city.
Would defo recommend and will take another cycle tour the next time we’re in Vietnam.
