Hanoi/Ninh Binh – Lan Ha Bay Full-day Boat Tour– Bioluminescent Night Kayak (L, D)

Old Quarter - 7:00-7:20. Guests will be picked up from their hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter area or Ninh Binh and will depart for Cat Ba Island. There will be brief stops along the way for rest. Upon reaching Hai Phong City, a ferry will be taken to Cat Ba Island, followed by a road journey to Ben Beo Pier.

Cat Ba Island - Arrival at Ben Beo Pier marks the start of the boat cruise through the breathtaking Lan Ha Bay. As the journey begins, the magnificent limestone formations emerging from the emerald waters will captivate you. The cruise will pass by Cai Beo Fishing Village, one of the oldest and most traditional floating villages in northern Vietnam, and continue among thousands of uniquely shaped karst towers.
12:00: A freshly prepared Vietnamese lunch will be served onboard, lovingly cooked by the local crew (vegetarian options available).

14:30: Guests will explore the pristine lagoon area of Lan Ha Bay by kayak, paddling through the Dark and Bright Caves, natural tunnels, and majestic archways. This area is both stunning and ecologically protected.

Lan Ha Bay - 16:30: The tour will stop at Ba Trai Dao Beach for swimming and jumping from the boat. This beach is remote, quiet, and less touristy, making it ideal for discovering temple beaches, hidden lagoons, and scenic rock arches.
17:30: A visit to a local floating fish farm will provide insight into how fishermen live and work on the water. Guests can join a hands-on cooking class onboard to learn how to prepare traditional Vietnamese dishes. Dinner will be served on the boat.
19:30: As the sun sets, guests can experience the magic of bioluminescent plankton. A special kayaking session will be guided in areas glowing with natural light. Swimming under the stars and watching your silhouette sparkle in the dark water is also an option.
20:00: Arrival at Viet Hai Village, located about 10 kilometers from Cat Ba Town. This charming village is nestled in the heart of the jungle, surrounded by lush forest, towering mountains, and serene natural beauty.

Discover Viet Hai Village – Swimming/ Trekking – Hanoi/Ninh Binh (B, L)

Viet Hai Village - 06:30: A hearty breakfast will be enjoyed at the restaurant.
07:30: Guests can hop on a bicycle and cycle around Viet Hai Village, taking in the fresh mountain air, scenic views, and even trying a fun fish massage in the natural stream.
08:30: Check out of the room. The return to Viet Hai Pier will set sail once more toward the Island.

Lan Ha Bay - 09:30: Arrival at the Island allows for relaxation and swimming on the sandy beach, or a short trek up to the island’s viewpoint for a panoramic view of Lan Ha Bay.
10:30: Lunch will be served onboard as the cruise heads back toward the harbor.
11:30: Arrival at Cai Beo Harbor. Guests will board the bus for the return journey to Hanoi or Ninh Binh.

Old Quarter - 16:00 – 16:30: Guests will arrive at their accommodation in Hanoi/Ninh Binh, concluding the trip.

On weekends or holidays, some roads in Hanoi Old Quarter will be closed to vehicles to make room for the Walking Street; therefore, buses will drop guests off at the Bus office in the Old Quarter instead.
