Amazing time in Hangzhou with Mr Pan aka Tony - This was one of the best guides we ever had! Mr Pan aka Tony and Alana helped us design the perfect itinerary for our trip. We kindly asked them to include a visit to the West Lake and the Lingyin Temple and they helped us arrange the day so that we also visited the bamboo forest and went for tea and the tea fields before kindly dropping us off at the train station and also making sure we found the gate and we boarded. Tony is extremely considerate and adapted the entire trip to fit my mom’s needs who had a sore leg. His expertise is impressive and he shared a wealth of knowledge about the region, each of the attractions we visited and also more generic about China. His personality is pleasant and open with loads of great references to the modern world included in his descriptions as well as great funny stories. We are so grateful for having had Tony as our guide as he made our day. Many thanks Tony for the great day and please also pass our regards and thanks to our amazing driver who was patience and always on time as well as very considerate when it came to my parents. Additionally many thanks to Alana who helped us build the perfect itinerary.

Laid back and lovely half day tour - A group of adult family travelers (including an elderly but mobile parent) wanted a low stress easy pace half day tour where we could just sit back, relax, and take things easy while soaking up Hangzhou’s natural sights. The itinerary was well paced, we were picked up from our hotel in a swanky Chinese EV (the future of transportation!) at 9am towards our first stop at the Bamboo Forest. Our guide,Tony, who was warm and knowledgeable, gave us a good overview of facts of the region. Even though it was drizzling, the experience was still lovely; we could take multiple walking stops to recharge, take photos, or just savour the glorious old trees in the bamboo forest. Post forest, we visited a tea farmers house and plantation. Authentic, and beyond the shine of the new skyscrapers or government road scapes, the hostess was warm. The climb required a little more effort for certain folks, but the view was dreamy like from a Chinese Xian Xia drama. We had to purchase our tea (just think that these are high quality tea- and if you are a coffee drinker think Fair Trade Single Origin Arabica) . Post tea plantation, a gorgeous and delicious restaurant for lunch. We had some dietary requirements but all were Comfortably accommodated. Would totally book with this tour operator again.

Great half day tour with dinner! - We did the afternoon tour with dinner. It was very convenient to be picked up at our hotel and Tina was waiting for us a little before the pickup time. First we went to the bamboo forest and walked around and saw the very old trees. The car ride wasn’t too long and Tina shared a lot of fun facts about the area with us on the way. The second half of the tour at the tea farm was also very beautiful and we enjoyed trying the tea at dinner. I would highly recommend!

A day to remember! - A refreshing walk to the bamboo forest and tea garden. Rebecca, our guide, has done an excellent job. She explained the history cultture, and people related to the Yunqi forest. She also clearly explained the tea production in Longjing village. She has a pleasant personality and responsive to our needs. We have an excellent lunch at The Green Tea Restaurant. A place that favours by local. 5 stars!

Away from the crowds - After working in Hangzhou all week, I was looking for something peaceful and away from crowds. Th visit to the bamboo forest achieved this. I would say it was a very expensive way to achieve it. The guide was excellent and zi feel I have made a friend in Rebecca, who I will ask for in future visits. The lunch was excellent at a lovely local restaurant.

Trusted Guide - My guide was incredibly kind and helpful. The tour was beautiful and did not feel rushed at all. There have been other tours that feel rushed, but this one is well worth it.
