A Memorable Experience at the Bombay Sapphire Distillery! - Our visit to the Bombay Sapphire Distillery was nothing short of amazing! From crafting cocktails in the masterclass to exploring the distillery itself, every moment was a delight. Evie brought the tour to life with her knowledge and enthusiasm, while Tyler made mixing cocktails a fun and engaging experience. A huge thank you to the Bombay Sapphire team for an unforgettable day! 🍸✨

Interesting and fun experience! - Very happy with this tour. The staff are all very helpful and knowledgeable, everyone was friendly and ready to answer questions!
The tour was excellent, not too long and we learned a lot!
The cocktail mixing is the highlight for me. Really good to get hands on and learn about why things are in the drink and what you can do to change things.
It’s a bit remote so book a taxi or get someone else to drive as you’ll be trying too much gin to be driving!

Enjoyable Place To See How Gin is Distilled - Went to the Bombay distillery and did the cocktail masterclass. Was a lovely way to spend a few hours. Bombay my favourite gin so knew I would enjoy seeing where it was distilled. Beautiful listed old premises in a lovely setting. Throughly enjoyed the cocktail masterclass where we learnt how to make three cocktails. Would highly recommend.

A fun experience with free flowing gin! - We went on the cocktail masterclass and to be honest, I was expecting to watch someone create cocktails that we could sample but I was surprised to see we all had our own ‘cocktail station’ and we were going to follow along, creating our own masterpieces! It was brilliant fun and the lovely lady running the class was very witty and knowledgeable. Absolutely amazing experience and great value for money!

Such a Fun Adventure! - Wonderful time at Bombay Sapphire Distillery! We took the Discovery Experience, where we were given a tour of the grounds, entered the greenhouses, learned about how Bombay Sapphire gin is made, etc. Then we had tickets for the Gin Masterclass which was so much fun! We learned how to make 3 different cocktails: the Laverstoke, a Negroni, and a Bee's Knees. They all turned out delicious. Following the end of our class & tour, we grabbed new drinks and a bite to eat at the bar which were really good. Everybody we interacted with with so kind and helpful. Just note, if you are taking public transportation, pay close attention to the bus and train times. We had taken the train to Whitchurch station and planned to get a taxi but none were available. It was an hour walk there and back to the distillery, but luckily there were sidewalks and a footpath which made the walk decently easy. We had a great time!

Nice way to spend an afternoon - Nice way to spend an afternoon especially if gin is your choice of drink.
Small group of folk led round the factory with an informative talk on gin making process and ingredients
Slightly disappointed that we didn’t really see much of working factory and bottling is off site.
Master class on Gin cocktails was great and we had three good cocktails. Top tip.. double all measures for more fun😀
Think the tour without the class would be a bit boring

Not So Good in Winter! - visited in the March of last year, and in January 2025, and can certainly say this is a much better spring/summer activity! mainly as the plants and grounds were looking tired and unkept on our most recent visit, which is challenging when a good 15-20 mins of the tour is spent in the tube gardens!
other than this, we had a great time again! the tour was very informative, and we had a lovely tour guide (can’t remember his name but said he’d worked there eight years?!)! cocktail masterclass was great fun (particularly as we only had a group of four), and Tyler was great! I wasn’t a huge fan of the Cocktails as they were rather bitter, but still felt nicely tipsy afterwards! a good experience overall, and something unique and very local to us!
