Always happy - Very good as I was bad on foot. I have already seen a lot in 2019. It was nice , as hamburgers ( residents of H.) are nice . It rolled off the production line.

Never look down on tourist buses, they are great, gives jobs and get you to learn new stuff. - Very interesting. Drop that " Nah, it's too cheesy and touristy". You will see and get information about amazing, buildings, history and learn about the English influence on the upper class's culture in Hamburg. If you are a visitor to Hamburg, first time or tenth, you should go. I and my friend have been here many times, took the tour and had a very good time.

Driver-dependent entertainment - We were traveling with the family and could sit up in nice weather. To see everything better a must. The tour was very informative and showed beautifully the different neighborhoods. Hop off and on worked out well. But the original Hamburg comments were only made on the way back. That is definitely driver dependent.

Ok tour. - Enjoyed being in Hamburg. Bus tour was good value however audio was poor German voice over speakers was hard to listen to commentary

Disappointing - Don't bother - Pretty disappointed with this tour. firstly they only take case - not credit cards which was a pain, on boarding they give you headphones (one set each) but when you sit down there is only one socket at each double seat so we had to share one set of headphones. Some seats didn't have a socket at all. We had an annoying tourist in front of us who was jumping up and taking photos in all directions - even on mundane things like people's houses - which blocked our view most of the time but that is not the bus company's fault. The tour of Hamburg itself, however was pretty dull. there really was no "highlights" Despite it being a "Hop On Hop Off" the bus didn't stop at a single place for us to get off - you had to ring the bell if you wanted him to stop - which assumes you know where the stops are - we didn't have a map so we had no idea.

The worst hop-on I've ever used - There is no mobile app so you can't see where the buses are. We were told we would never need to wait more than 30 minutes for a bus but has to wait nearly an hour at stop 2 (the city hall) for a bus. They only take cash. The route is good. The audio guide is good but hard to hear because it also plays in German constantly on the loud speakers. There are no STOP buttons topdeck on some buses so you have clamber down while the bus is moving. The blue and the red buses looked better and seemed to run more often.

They only speak German... - The tour is fun, but the driver, who talks a lot to the passengers explaining the tour, ONLY SPEAKS GERMAN. I didn't understand anything, I felt excluded from much of the visit, the phones, in English, had fewer explanations than the driver. They generally only speak German, which is very unpleasant for tourists.

Gave up - never saw the bus on the whole tour. Cannot meet light hop on and off.. Possibly good Hamburg touring bus - Offers hourly departures only and limited per day. Hopp on and off not realistic. Then took red arrow. Double paid

Not the best if you don’t have much time! - We were on a cruise and had four hours in Hamburg so we decided to go the hop on hop off route. The first thing the driver would only take cash. We got off one stop and had to wait an hour for the next bus and on another stop the bus stopped for an half hour. You’re better off buying a public transit day pass.

AWEFUL COCK UP - The system did not work on the bus so I had to pay again . Wouldn’t recommend aviator to anybody. Hamburg is great
