Fun experience - It was fun and you can petal if you want. It is electric so it’s your choice. If full some seats don’t have petals. You can not drink while on the vehicle.

Sooo fun with Leaf - Was so fun, Leaf our guide was so kind and full of information. The stops were just the right amount of time and each very different. 4 of us 60 years old and decided it was our favorite excursion of the trip. One note - they can’t serve drinks outside in Halifax, but we got great drinks AND food at each stop!

Leith was a great tour... - Leith was a great tour guide! He was fun, friendly and had great energy! Super fun ride through the city. My only suggestion would be to let people know in advance what food they could order at the spots. This would give them an option to decide if they want pizza at the first stop or something else at the second stop. But overall, it was a really fun time! Thanks!

Amanda and Solar bike tour. - Amanda, our guide, was amazing. Very knowledgeable of history. The stops for food and drinks were awesome. Amanda played music, we sang and laughed a lot. It was an amazing way to see the sights of Halifax. We all had a fantastic time. The best part of our trip!

Actually Good for Families Music, Biking with Some Local History - While this is technically a party bike (i.e. boozy), I read it was good for families and agree it was; however, if there are others in your group that want to party that might change things. We were a small group - just my family of 3 and another adult couple. You can purchase the ride and pay as you go for food/drinks. We stopped at 3 different bars/restaurants where the Solar company has a relationship with and you can receive a discount but are not obligated to buy anything. They were good restaurants with good food/drinks offered - especially the local Halifax white wine. Mandie was our tour guide and made it fun with just the right amount of local guide information. She gave us a good history of the region and highlights without too much information. Additionally, she had fun and festive music throughout and gave us tips for dealing with other drivers on the road :) Given we were only 5 on the bike, we were VERY slow moving but it was great fun and almost all the drivers and passerby were friendly and fun to interact with. Mandie played "East Coast" music which was folk music that made the ride festive. We stopped along the way at the main boardwalk, had a look around and got some history of the Halifax explosion along with some Titanic history. This tour was perfect for my family b/c it was a smaller group, picked us up directly at the Port (we were cruising), and was not too long. Just right. Highly recommend.

Amazing tour! - Lieth was an amazing tour guide! Our group ended up being smaller than usual, but he 100% did not let that phase him. He rocked the tour, gave some great insight into local places to visit, and absolutely killed the karaoke on the trip! His playlist is fire, and we strongly recommend this trip overall, and Lieth in particular, for anyone looking for a fun and unique experience in Halifax!

Fun Times with fellow cruise ship passengers - Fun times on the Pedal Bus - 3 great stops for food & drink:1) Italian —-pizza,bruschetta,haddock wine or beer;2) Westin- appetizers .. many drink & food choices I enjoyed the most delicious mussels in butter/garlic/lime; 3) local brewery : beer or cider flights loved the peach beer. Picked us up at cruise terminal to start tour & last stop was a brewery on the pier adjacent to our cruise ship. Our guides Leight & Tristan both fun, entertaining & provided history of area. Great way to meet fellow passengers & see the sights while enjoying local food & beverages! Fun for all ages!

Disappointing - This was a hugh disappointment. You would be better off doing the Halifax walking tour and eat or drink where you want. We were told that no peddling was required and if we roll backwards at a light, we would be told and to remove our feet from the peddles. Well we rolled backwards and nothing was said! Our 15 year grandson's foot was caught, the driver had to be told to move ahead so he could get his foot out. He could not hardly put any weight on his foot for 2 days after!! No one ever reached out and asked us about the incident....terrible Also when you book you have the option the add the gratuity, which we did $30, then the driver tell us we can tip her. We were the only family of 6 on this. Do you even give the driver the gratuity collected when the reservation is made and paid for? Save your money, this is poorly operated and the saftey is questionable .

Do Not Use Viator - What experience? I am filing a complaint---and probably on YELP and everyone of your advertised sites unless I am refunded. We had booking no. BR 11826852591 Halifax Water Solar-Powered pedal 2:00, Thurs. Oct. 10, 2024 2 Seniors Code: Halifaxpartybike Tour operator NKYV-180924 We were at the sign, in the parking lot of Westin Hotel, at 130---- IN THE RAIN. A little after 2 pm, I call the phone no. As the person and I were talking, the pedal bus drove by----we started screaming Hey Hey Hey----nope, just kept going. Then after on hold for a bit, the lady told us keep our cell line clear, the driver was going to call us where to meet up----waited another 30 min. IN THE RAIN---no call. I have used Viator in the past with no complaints. But now, we are Senior Citizens. And $96.30 is a lot of money for us. We kindly as for help in this matter. Your quick response will be greatly appreciated. Carol Pinkston 115 Megan Circle Shelbyville TN 37160 931-639-7065
